Default one of "those" weekends, and a question

not great this week, but i definitely made better choices then i wouldve a year ago!! so we had a wedding this weekend and there was tons of running around and fast food going on. even though i wasnt perfect, i did only eat a small cheeseburger when we went to mcdonalds (not great, but only 300 cals.). today our guests ordered pizza and i only ate 2 slices (the little square slices, about 500 cals for 2 slices). i AM proud because i made it through the wedding without eating ANYTHING!! i ate beforehand and even though the food and mixed drinks, and oh god, *wedding cake* were calling my name, i nursed a diet coke all night. not a great weekend of eating but i think i did okay and i stayed within my calories.

question tho, tomorrow we're having a dinner party and grilling. i already insisted we cut out the mashed red potatoes i usually make and opt for asparagus. whats a good, low cal/fat option for steak that i could grab for myself at the store?

Bison meat is exceptionally lean and VERY tasty, if you can find it at your store!

Bison steak, salmon in foil, or a chicken breast marinated with a bit of olive oil & spices (bring in a ziploc)

I like to do shishkabobs because there are lots of veggies involved. If everyone puts their own on the sticks then there isn't any pressure to have to eat something you don't want to. A smaller amount of meat goes a long way, too.
