I use SparkPeople's nutrition tracker, and I can actually fit an ENTIRE Newman's Own cheese pizza into my daily calories, with room to spare for other things. If I balance it out, I can even end up filling all my requirements (protein, etc) without going over on fat, carbs, or sodium. Sometimes junk food can fit into a balanced diet. You just have to cut down the portions and do some creative negotiating with the rest of your food that day.
Don't beat yourself up over a little slip here and there.
We always beat ourselves up after these things. I had two pieces of incredible bread at dinner Sat night. I had gone to the gym that day, but I knew that was not what I wanted to be doing. I was upset. I knew that my normal routine would not make me feel completely better about it so instead of doing my regular cardio routine the next day I did an intense class that I never go to at my gym(could have done a home video if I did not have a gym membership). I felt amazing and the bread? Not a problem anymore. I am still going to get into my Calvins for Thanksgiving!
You are always so helpful to us lending support. You are an inspiration so don't get down on this.
2 pieces of pizza? Aw, you can handle that. And you ARE handling that- being accountable, posting here, getting back to your plan. I wish i could stop at 2 pieces of pizza! (actually, the last time we had pizza at work, i DID stop at 2 pieces, and I was pretty impressed with myself!)
Your progress is amazing and inspiring, and your continuous support here is so appreciated.
In all the months you've been on plan...with a handful of fries...I think you deserved the pizza.
How did you get so disciplined over food especially around the time of the month?
You are amazing. Is there any way you can plan this in your meals occasionally? I think it is highly improbable that anyone stays on plan all of the time considering your beginning weight. I don't mean that in a rude way, so please don't take it as such.
Honestly, I appreciate your honesty, but I don't understand why you are beating yourself up? Next. Good luck.

I mostly am able to do it because I usually stop and ask myself is so and so food is worth eating but I had just woke and well the pizza was there and I felt like I really wanted it so I ate it :|.
I try not to beat myself up but I, like many others, am always hardest on myself.
2 slices of cheese pizza is not the end of the world. None of us are perfect. And it's ok to have something once in awhile, just account for it.
My WW leader gave us a good way to deal with slips like that. First, forget the guilt, it's a useless emotion that doesn't do a thing for us.
Then, figure out how many points or calories it puts you over on your plan, divide that by the next 7 days and you'll know what you need to do for the next 7 days to make up/account for the slip.
For instance, if a slip puts you 400 cals or approx 8 ww points over, that's 58 cals or just over 1 point a day for the next 7 days. It doesn't look so bad that way, and you can make up for it by shaving off a few cals or points daily, or add a few extra mins of exercise every day.
