Good thread, good thread .... I subscribed and am commenting before having a chance to read all posts, but I will come back later.
I am happy that I met a guy at my top weight, knowing that he loves me for who I am regardless of weight. It's so nice to not worry about a guy's shallowness interfering with his feelings for me.
I also noticed much more attention from men when I was down 80 pounds ... and yes, even women treated me differently. Sometimes they disliked me as I lost weight, as I became "competition" for them in a way I wasn't before.
I am so curious about Wall-E now. I had no desire to watch it, but now I might just for curiosity's sake.
And yeah ... what is it with what seems to be increasing discrimination against overweight people, even though more people fall into that category??
