I am always scouting for new gym outfits at Winners. You can never have too many tank tops (just like you cannot have too many shoes). :-)
And if I have patience to look for some more, than I look for regular wear stuff. My closet is literally empty - I ruthlessly pulled out everything that was too big and old in style and donated a truckload of clothes to Value Village.
Clothing, definately clothing, particularly pretty dresses. I love clothes that make me look pretty, summery and girlie Plus I enjoy having my fiance give me a foot massage after i've been running
Clothes for me. I have a basement full of 16s (and a couple of 14s) which are still a bit too small so as I am in an awkward in-between size I get to buy some stuff. My BIG reward will be this fall. Soon as I am really and truly a 14 I am treating myself with a vacation, flying out to California. First real vacation I'll have been on since the ex and I flew to Vegas in 2000.
I bought a beaded bracelet. I add a bead every time I lose 10 pounds. When I wear it it reminds me of how far I have come.
I do something similar but with a necklace. I add a rondelle bead after each pound (only 2 so far). I plan to add a gemstone briolette after each 10 pounds and a large gemstone when I reach my goal.
My favorite planned rewards - jewelry, massages and spa treatment.
when i hit my goal im buying myself a new digital camera. i have an old kodak easyshare, and its so clunky i never use it, plus i hate the way i look in pictures. so when im at goal and looking cute, ill need an awesome new camera to snap those pics of me out and about.
I bought myself a very beautiful right hand ring when I lost weight in 2004/05. It has served as an anchor for me and when I look at it (really look at it), I remember that I CAN do REALLY hard things. That helped me not let recent weight gains get totally out of control (the ring won't fit if I put all my weight back on) and I know I can pull this weight back off.
My reward for losing all of my weight (156 lbs) will be to go to Disneyland with my family!! I can't wait and that keeps my even more motivated. I have other smaller rewards for when I reach certain weights like; new clothes, mani/pedi, get my hair done, a mini vaca with just hubby & me, a new swimsuit... stuff like that. It's all on my blog thejourney26.blogspot.com
For me, pretty clothes and shoes that fit. Little gifts include: trips to the Hair Dresser or Beauty Parlour, a nice coffee mug etc. I want to treat myself to a new Ipod or MP3/4 (don't know which) when I get a bit more weight off - after the next 10kg. Then, later, I want to buy (or get hubby) to buy me a nice new wrist watch but I want to leave that one until the last so that the band will fit nicely. (VANE HEY).
Bribery works on kids, why shouldn't it on ourselves.
