Once I stopped eating sweets, the craving for them mostly subsided. I do eat fruit which is sweet so that is kind of where I get my sweets from and occasionally I'll have a small piece of dark chocolate to get a chocolate fix.

For oatmeal, perhaps try mixing it with artificial sweeteners/lessening the sweetener over time. That is how I did it with iced tea. I used to sweeten my iced tea with artificial sweeteners but over time I lessened it until I didn't need any anymore.

One thing I used to do with tuna is mix nonfat plain yogurt in it. It gave a creamy taste. You can also mix in mustard and seasonings lessening the amount of mayo/mayo substitute you use.

Definitely once you cut out chocolate and cakes n' such you wont crave them. I am the same as you. I could eat chocolate, cookies, cakes, all day. I never thought I could just give it up. Occasionally I have a bit. Like sometimes I will go to the bakery to get a SLICE of cake, that way I dont make a whole cake. I go to a bakery and not the grocery store because I want a QUALITY treat, like I would make at home. You can have your "cake and eat it too" just in moderation and dont set yourself up by having it in the house. If you have to work for it, your less likely to go get it I reserve those treat times to once a month... TOM

Ohh yeah and I wanted to say that oatmeal is very yummy with apples, vanilla, cinnamon, Fat Free Promise, and cinnamon. Sometimes I even put a bit of almond extract in. Its soooo good I can make a mean bowl of oatmeal. I eat it alll the time. In fact, if I were to stay at your house, my "barrel" of oatmeal would be in my overnight bag with the condiments needed.

*** EDITED TO SAY**** I do put a teaspoon of raw sugar in the oatmeal too.
