Thinthinker,

Come here even if you don't want to talk about it...coming here means you haven't lost all motivation...maybe you just need a boost...don't beat yourself up. Have a good weekend!

I'm noticing a trend with my eating patterns...three good, solid days of eating well and THEN...an off day that usually translates into DAYS of off days. This time I'm giving myself permission to have an off day, thereby alleviating the guilt that drives me to binge. And you know what? Having given myself that permission, I don't feel compelled to go haywire with the eating like I normally would. Back on track tomorrow, no guilt, no shame.

Gotta feed the troops...dh is HUNGRY!

see ya!

Just popping in to say real quick!

Andrew has a double ear infection and he just wants his mommy! Its hard to type with a baby in your arms!

Went to dinner last night and had broiled flounder with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. Plus...........the bread....my biggest downfall! And...I sampled some fried calamari...but I DID order a broth based soup! Hopefully I didn't do too much damage...but then there was lunch today!

We are suppose to get 4-7 inches of snow tomorrow! I am going to go into work in the morning for a few hours. I am only 2.5 miles from work so it won't be bad! I hate driving in the snow...you would think being from New England I would be use to it! I hate it! Seen too many bad accidents!

Well I better go take care of my sick little boy! Talk to you all tomorrow!

Good evening,

I'm happy it's Friday and the weekend is here. I don't have Monday off of work as everyone else. But hopefully everyone will think we're closed. So much for the lawn mowing planned for tomorrow. A major wind/rain storm is here and it'll be raining all weekend. Finally, it feels like Christmas here. (one month later) North wind is blowing. Soon I need to give the yard a little more attention. Bug spraying, etc. Do any of you grow miniature roses? I order from Noreast roses. They have a website @ http://www.noreast-miniroses.com. My micro cinderella rose died last year and I want to replace it. It reminds me of a little baby fingernail. White w/a pink blush. Look at me going off on my favorite mini roses. My apologies.

Tomorrow is regain focus day. Wish me luck. It's the 19th of January. Time's a running away from me. Ten months to the day until the big 4-0.

Sweet dreams,
Malia

Good morning,

I have been up since 4am, exercised, watched tv, cleaned my email, and now I am here.

Weigh-in is less than 1 1/2 hours away, and I am nervous. Food wasn't great this week. I had many a slip-ups. I am hoping that if I do gain, it won't be for more than 1 pound.

I have a question, where is everyone living? I am just curious because Malia is talking about grass cutting, and Michelle is talking about snow. I live in Detroit, Michigan.

Malia: Sorry you don't have Monday off, but I do and am scared, because it is usually when I am home, that I overeat.

Michelle: Sorry to hear about Andrew's Ear Infection. My Andrew, as well as, me and my DH have all been sick for over a week now. Everyone is starting to feel a little better, but we will all be glad when the germs are gone. Hey, I have a question, how did you get Andrew's picture on your postings? I would like to put my Andrew's pic up too. Please let me know.

Katrinabgood: My eating is sometimes like that too. I have some really good days and "POW" I am off on a rampage.

Grannie: Sorry about the gain, but I have confidence that you will get if off quickly.

TT: Hope you have a great weekend.

Well, I keep hearing Andrew stirring, so I know he will be up soon, so I better finish up here.

Have a great day. I will try to get back in tonight to post my w-i.

Malia I have been trying to start a rose garden. I just started last year and only have two rose plants. I probably have to grow a different variety than you since you are in Hawaii and I in Minnesota. So thanks for the web site - I will check it out.

Susie WOW you get a lot done so early in the morning. I hope your weigh in went "down".

I will be organizing my office area - it has been sadly neglected the last few months - so I will be checking in - a lot.

I have decided to change my ways to force myself into doing something for myself. When I get home from work I turn on my computer to check for emails and to see what you have all been up to that day. Unfortunately that leads to at least an hour on the computer, then I have to still eat dinner, and do any other tasks I need to get done. Of course that means I don’t do any exercising.

From now on, you will all have to become the second thing I do when I get home. I will come home, change clothes and exercise before I can get on the computer.

While working on straightening some things up I was playing some old Oprah shows and one was on being over weight. Two of the issues they talked about were 1) Buying groceries and how people look or treat you, and 2) Doctor visits.

What, if any, experiences have you had with either of these issues? One lady who weighed 328 went for birth control. The nurse went off on her about her weight and how she would die in childbirth at that weight. The lady said, “Hello, I am here for birth control so why are you saying anything to me?

Mary Where did you live in Minnesota? That's where I live. Don't worry those 2 lbs will disappear before you know it.

I will check in later. I have to get ready to visit my Aunt in the hospital.

Hi gang...

Greetings from New Jersey! We had our first snow fall yesterday, about 3 or 4 inches, just enough to play in and make everything look pretty, roads are OK though.

Can't stay too long, I'm off to Mom and Dad's to help them pack to move and take some of their old clutter to add to my clutter! (Only the good stuff!)

I'll check back later...

Hello!!

Yes, here I am again! I am a flake about posting!! I just couldn't motivate to do it. Last Friday, the 11th, was my bankruptcy hearing, which brought on a BIG TIME attack from my ulcer, so that made me miserable for a few days. Tuesday my son came down with the Flu and I ended up in the ER with him Wednesday, then my daughter got it Thursday, then I got it Friday, and now my DH has it. My son is doing better today. My daughter and I are still running low grade fevers, but are feeling a bit better. I haven't had the flu in years. THis is the sickest sick I've been in a long time. On the up side of it all, I've lost about 5 pounds. I think not working at Pizza Hut probably had something to do with it. It's a good thing I got out of there when i did. They're starting a new thing called the P'zone. It's a calzone and they made samples for the crew to try just before I left and they were SOOOO GOOD!!! Oh yeah! I could have eaten those every night. No problem. Whew! I really did get out of there just in time.

Not much else to say today. It is DUMPING snow today so I think I'll just stay home and snuggle up with a movie and finish recouperating. I think we have about 7-8inches of snow now.

Anyhoo, I am still a bit out of it, but wanted to say hi n' stuff.
Talk at ya later,
Jen

Just checking in to say Hi!

Andrew and I are still fighting this cold/flu thing. We both just want to sleep right now! Its awful. He is getting a little better...at least he is starting to eat some!

I have been so off program the past few days! I can't stand myself now!

I'll try and catch up to you all tomorrow. We are moving downstairs in the morning so hopefully I will get on after that part. Everything is packed and ready to go!

Have a good day!

Michelle

Well I was up 1 pound at w-i yesterday. Not too bad, could have been worse. Unfortunately I have been out of control yesterday and today.

I thought today would be better, but then my DH really began to piss me off and that was all I needed to eat. I love my husband, but he really doesn't see how much work I do at home and away. I mean I have a full time job as an accountant, and then I have to come home, cook, clean, wash clothes, put clothes away, take care of Andrew, etc..... I also do all the financial stuff, the organizing stuff, make most of the decisions, etc... I am tired of doing everything. His only required jobs for cleaning are: clean the bathrooms (which I am grateful if he does a top to bottom cleaning once a month), clean the cat litter boxes and give Andrew a bath every other night. I have to do everything else. This morning I woke up early with Andrew, got his breakfast, got him situated and once he was set, I began doing a top to bottom cleaning of the kitchen. About an hour and a half later, DH wakes up and plops himself in front of the TV. Andrew starts spazzing out (the terrible two's have arrived), and I have to be the one to calm him down, while I am trying to fix the mini blinds in the kitchen. Anyhow, enough venting on my part.

DH is sometimes clueless and still doesn't really understand why I am being cold to him, even after I explained it to him.

Tomorrow is another day. I sure hope it is a better one.
