Yeah that's me, like the others said, binge than starve. I've gone until 2 o'clock in the afternoon without eating and then exercise too, usually all it does is give me huge jumps on the scale, and sometimes I don't lose an ounce. I even gain.

I think like someone said, you just have to get better at the lifestyle change. I am slowly getting better.

Ice cream is a total binge food for me too. I will have it "out" a couple of times a year, but I just can't have it in the house!
Oh yes, it HAD to be melted, without question. The sooner the better. Ice cream and me - we just don't get along. Like I said I had no trouble wasting the food, yes I know people are starving elsewhere, but my eating it wouldn't save them unfortunately. But wasting water DOES bother me. But again, the alternative was worse.

I haven't told DH yet that I got rid of the stuff. But I will have to. He needs to know that he was doing me no favors whatsoever by bringing it home for me. Ice cream is the one thing, well one of several things, that I have NO control with.

What if you poured something on it? Like vinegar? Is that better than the water I wonder?

Ronda - Glad you're feeling better today. Pizza is a trigger for me too. I did let the family have some on Sunday, but I had to not eat any. Once slice would have led to lots of slices. Don't beat yourself up, it happens to everyone.

I noticed you're just across the state line from me!
