My weigh-in TONIGHT!!!

  • I'm soooo excited! My pants are loose this week which means I lost at least SOME weight!

    I get so excited when Tuesdays come because I can't wait to weigh-in. I hope I lost at LEAST 5 lbs. I really worked hard and ate really good this week. I burned over 9,000 calories this week

  • wow 9000 cals!!! sadly when someone mentions hoe much they burned i automatically think how much they could eat to balance it out my outlook isnt good anywho good luck on the weigh in, just dont expect anything miraculous! just remember those inches if it isnt what you expected! GOOD LUCK ME DARLIN'

    I can't imagine that you burned 9000 cals with exercise alone--are you including your resting metabolism in there as well?

  • Good luck for the weight in, you sure must be exercising loads to burn 9000 calories. Clothes are always a good guide to weight loss because the scales aren't always our friend. Due to the exercise we do we put on muscle which weighs heavier than fat. Best wishes with your weight loss journey.
  • Good luck on your weigh in tonight!! Don't stress the numbers so much though. You already KNOW you've lost inches just based on your clothes. If the scale hasn't caught up yet, don't take it to heart!!

    Thanks guys. What we do in my program is we have a chart. The chart has weights on it and then calories burned per minute of exercise and then it also has degrees of exercise (low intensity, medium intensity, medium high intensity, high intensity and VERY high intensity). With my weight, by the chart (now I know it's an estimate), I burn 11 calories a minute with medium intensity which would include brisk walking. I also do aerobics a few times a week. I exercise about 3 hours a day. Sometimes more depending on if I go hiking and I'm gone for a while or if I go to a park and feel I need to be there a long time since I spent the gas money to get there.

    Maybe that clears it up a bit. Again, it's an estimate, but these numbers have been written out after a lot of research. Even if it's not exact, I still know that I'm doing a great job and I know as I lose more that I need to work harder to burn the calories.

    I try to wear the same clothes to the meeting every week so I'm sure to get an accurate weight. I'll let ya guys know tonight. I'm so happy..just happy that I'm doing this for myself, because I am very important. Okay okay..so I needed a self-esteem boost.

  • well, I'm back home and I lost 3.5 pounds!! And that's from weighing in at night after I've eaten all day. I'm going to weigh myself in the morning for a more accurate count for myself, if ya know what I mean. But that's great I think! That's a 2 week total of 12.5 lbs. Thanks for the support guys!

  • thanks guys! My goal seems so far away until I give myself Mini goals...those really seem to help. I treated myself with some nice foot scrubs..I have such caloused feet, it's nice to get them smooth again.
