Stacy, Don't you dare let some jerk make you feel bad! I have found that many people show their true colors when they have no fear of being identified. Every site that I have ever visited, no matter how innocent the topic, ALWAYS has some jerk going around mouthing off!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have to wonder what is going on in their lives to make them want to do that.
It took a gutsy person to post the video in the first place, hey world look at me and what I can do! Don't let some loser take that away from you!!!!!! You are still the wonderful person that you were before he carelessly insulted you!!!!!! Heck, it might be some 10 year old brat, honestly. So don't lose a moment's sleep over it!
I can remember when I was a senior and I found out that I was going to be on the honor court at graduation. I went to tell my favorite teacher, and I was crying. Some really really scrawny kid in her class said, Ohhh, look at the fat baby crying. DUH. I probably weighed 120 pounds at the time. It really upset me. Heck, even a family member was insensitive enough to tell my daughter that most children her age weigh such and such (which he obviously has no idea what the crap he was talking about) which was a good 20 lbs. less than what she weighs. And the child is tall and thin as a rail. Now I have had to try to undo the insecurity that comment caused because I don't want my 10 year old thinking she needs to lose weight!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still don't know why he did that. He is old enough to know better. Sometimes people just say stupid things to make themselves feel better.
So go right now and put your video back on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You don't need anyone to approve of your life but yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well I think that u have worked hard so don't let anyone tell you other wise. I am in 7th grade and I know how you feel. ppl don't even know you and they just make fun of you because usally they have nunthin better to do and they think it will get them noticed but in reality it hurts the other persons feelings. yesterday I was with my friends and both there BF told me I was ugly and fat. do you know what I told them...ha ha ha I told them to shut up cause they didn't know how hard I was working to lose weight. and that I can lose the weight but they can't ever stop being ugly LOL. Hope that helps!!!

Such wisdom from such a young little cutie! I'm shocked that those boys were so openly rude. I hope your friends also came to your defense, though it sounds like you had that more than covered all on your own!
How are you going about your weight loss plans? Was just curious. I recall my first diet when I was 13. I was just ten pounds over so I think I just cut back on snacks, but I felt so good when my teacher noticed I had lost weight and said so in front of the whole class.
I'm sorry that happened to you. That guy undoubtedly has a very pathetic life where he feels powerless, so he gets his jollies being mean to others. I imagine that this is what happens to middle school bullies when they grow up
The best revenge is to live well, repost your video, be proud of yourself!! If he posts that your fat, well, post back with the wonderful word "SO?" Because really, so what? You are working on your health, but that doesn't mean you (and the rest of us) need to hide indoors until we can fit into a size 00. Have fun with your life, and never be ashamed of yourself. As the 7th grader so wisely put it, WE can lose the weight, some people cannot ever lose their inner uglies.
I agree with everyone. Honestly, when people say things like that, it speaks more about them than about you. Plus, here they've made this imprint on your mind and off they go, not giving it or you a second thought. People like that use other people to give themselves ego boosts and bravado but that doesn't last too long because it's not true confidence so they do it to the next person and the one after that. It's like an ego fix at your expense. Don't give people that kind of power over you. And who are they to you anyway? Nobody! Nameless, faceless, hiding behind their computers...and a lot of them are kids and teenagers! They probably get picked on themselves!
I say, put the video back and just get rid of that comment. Then tell us the link so we can come see and post!

I can't stand people like that. They seriously have no sense of class or humanity. I commend you for your efforts in weight loss. Don't worry about ****heads like him.
Stacy,
I am awed by what you have accomplished! Stay here and listen to us, not that lowlife on youtube!
Veggielady, your story about the kid on the bus is so familiar to me. I had a tormentor in middle school who called me blubber butt every day. When I look back at that time, I was only about 130 pounds and 5'5" but I was so insecure! I ran into his mom years later and asked about him. I told her how awful he had treated me. She told me he was now in PRISON for domestic abuse. I was not surprised. I felt bad for her, but I was NOT surprised!
There are alot of morons that post on Youtube, honestly. The other day, I was watching a clip of a girl singing, and she had a lovely voice, perfect pitch. Yet, there were so many mean comments. I couldn't understand that. Maybe the people just didn't like the song, but that girl had a beautiful voice, yet these people were mean to her, not the song...
Alot of youtube posters are hateful morons. ALOT... But, I would like to ask you a question - were there any good comments about your video clip? If there were, why not concentrate on the good ones, and ignore that bad? Don't let the comments of one youtube moron ruin what you have worked so hard to accomplish.... Then, he will have accomplished what he set out to do, tear you down. Don't let him win....
We wouldn't be human if our feelings didn't get hurt. It's what we choose to do with it, how we handle ourselves afterward, that makes the difference. The guy was a major a**hole, no two ways about it. If this had happened to someone else you love, what would you be advising her? Well, this did happen to someone you love: you! Now is when you take yourself aside when you're home alone, and talk to yourself like your best friend...because only you can talk yourself out of this pain. YOU KNOW what an accomplishment it is that you've lost 58 POUNDS!! We know it, too--that was the single most amazing thing I found out about you, just looking at your site--IMPRESSIVE!!! Remind yourself of how great that is--and what a lively, interesting person you are! Remind yourself that the wonderful friends you have hang out with you because they know you, love you, and think you're pretty great or they wouldn't do that!!
Toughen yourself. You can and will surmount this. We're all supportive here as we share your struggles and identify with you. Your close friends are even more supportive. These are the people who know and love you. Take their counsel, take our counsel--and ignore that of insecure riffraff who get their jollies by anonymously insulting strangers they wouldn't have the nerve to confront in person. (And even if they did, like that kid on the bus example--they're just foul gas. They stink, yes--but they're STILL not worth listening or paying attention to, except to pointedly IGNORE!)

What big balls this guy has to post an anonymous comment about someone being fat. WHATEVA dude. You're doing awesome, who cares what some jerk thinks anyway. Let's see his picture....
Ugh ugh ugh!!! I wish there was a "blood boiling" smiley for me to post here because I'm too grrrrr to even comment coherently. I get comments like that all the time online and in real life (and I wish I could say they were all from kids, but they're definitely not).
Many many hugs to you and a big fat punch in the mouth to your commentator. (yeah, I'm violent that way)
Some people are always going to be mean to others and attack the way they look. Too fat, too thin, nose too big etc - it's always uncalled for, it's cruel and unfair but it will always happen. I am so sorry that this happened to you. All I can say is that you don't know this guy, his opinion of you is irrelevant and I like the idea of the poster who said to put your video back up.
