 Dunno - I just know that a lot of people don't check the contents of that kind of thing.

As you say, they are disgusting. I've only ever had one packet of them and I put a lot of honey in with it. I'm like you - I normally buy the cheapest paracetamol I can - its all the same thing anyway - just in different shapes.

I don't know about self scanners (never used one) but maybe they are programmed to trigger an alarm if you try to scan three paracetamol containing products.

One pound lost this week.
At least I'm back to where I was at the start of the xmas challenge.
I'm going to go back to salsaciseing everyday this week, and try for a big loss like the week before last.
I've bought tesco healthy living low cal meals this week, I'll give you my opinion after I,ve tried them.

3lbs gone this week which is a big surprise because I ate far too much at the Children In Need BBQ last Friday. I had three veggie days which possibly balanced it out.

Now the weather has gotten so much cooler I'm really struggling to drink my 2 litres of water a day. I just don't like cold drinks when its cold.

Well done Carole on the 1lb thats excellent

Well done Sarah Ann on the 3lbs thats excellent

Me : I have lost 1lb this week , but i was weighted in the morning at the fertility clinic and i was 19st exactly so that was a 3lb loss but im gonna stick with the rosemary weight in amount and use the fert clinic one just for the fert clinic hehe , but its nice to know that i weighed a bit less in the morning. I now have a goal of losing 6 stone to be put on fertility drugs unless i get pregnant naturally in the mean time . Nothing like a strong goal hey.

Well done Treez and Sarah Ann.

Something strange has happened to my computer.
I posted a massive, beat myself up rant, involving a sausage roll earlier, and its dissapeared.
The computer must have said no.

Treez-Hope you enjoyed your self at the wedding.

Well as I,ve posted in the xmas challenge I,ve stayed the same this week.
I,m a bit p***ed that I have,nt lost anything for the challenge yet.
I've also been thinking, is this the amount I'll be able to eat for the rest of my life just to stay at the same weight?
Take no notice of me though. its just my winter SAD talking.

Carole I'm right with you, we weigh about the same now, I've been going between 160 and 162 for about 2 months now. My goal for the Xmas challenge was 153.....and we've made zero progress towards that.

I think because I don't feel "huge" anymore I've gotten a bit lazy and allowed myself some treats I shouldn't have. When I was in the 180's I was far more strict with myself, so obviously I know what I need to do but I'm having trouble doing it.

Anyway I'm sure this didn't make you feel better but I wanted you to know that someone is in the exact same boat. :)

treezuk 11-29-2006 10:07 AM

Sorry to hear you havent lost any carole , if its any consaltion i am gonna have put some on tonight so were all right in the same boat this week.

Hope you guys are doing ok at the moment.

I'm doing VERY badly, seem to have gone off the rails a bit :( I can't stop drinking wine in the evenings :dizzy:

I don't care if I can stay the same weight but I'm not sure I will.

Went to a hen night on Friday and got absolutely mullered (was a laugh though :D ), and ended up cooking pasta and toast for myself at 3 in the morning :hehe:

This week we've got Chinese (eat as much as you like) on Wed, night out in Windsor drinking (although if I drive I'll be good) on Thurs. Big meal out again on Sat (already made my choices, healthy main but goats cheese tart to start and then cheesecake :yikes: ).

I figure it's not worth getting too stressed about it at the moment though as I want to enjoy my xmas parties.

Definitely need to hit the gym with a vengence though.

chunkycarole 12-05-2006 12:12 PM

Redsox- Nice to know somebodies in the same boat.

Treez- Don't get too down about the 2lb. Let me know what you thought of the sweet potato, I've never tried one the shape puts me off.

Tranq- I'm with you too.

I've stayed the same again.

I've had 5 good days, and 2 when I've been mental.
On Friday I followed a tip someone gave me in RC, and had a 250cl bottle of wine, only problem is when that had gone, I opened a "proper" bottle and drank that as well, followed by a couple of stellas!!
On Sunday I tried to be very good after the weekend, ended up starving in bed so went down and ate a whole packet of jaffa cakes.
I,ve also been mad for pate and toast which is'nt RC either.
I've decided to try and stay the same until xmas, have a couple if treat days, and then get back on it with a vengance in the new year.
The tesco meals tasted a bit artifical, not as nice as WW's.
Have a good week everyone.

Carole

Treez
I'd like to say don't be depressed, but if it was as easy as someone telling you not to, nobody would be in the first place, would they? If you know what I mean.
As I'm writing this I'm in the full glare of a SAD light box trying to fool myself it's sunny.
I get like this in winter I just want to go to bed in November and wake up in March. It also makes me want to eat all the time, I don't know if thats hormonal, or me just trying to cheer my self up.
What I've decided to do is try to maintain for now, put on as little as possible over christmas, I'm going to have at least 3 days off, and then get back to it with a vengeance in the new year.
I've let little things creep back in as well, some on purpose like the wine, and some by accident like the 20g of fat per 100g pate.
I found a good drink at the weekend cheered me up no end, and the best news is I don't want a drink again for a while.
Take care.
Carole
