Well done Carole.

Glad you are feeling better Teresa, hope it went ok this morning.

(I'm between Staines and Windsor BTW)

I felt so rough this morning i decided to go to the nights one now , as i got a cough now and i cant even breathe in without coughing lol ad i couldnt drag myself out of bed in time. I just dunno whether to jump on scales now and have that as my offical weigh in or weight and till tonight and be fatter lol.

What would you do ?

Staines/windsor thats cool.

If you normally weigh in the eve T I would wait, plus your scales will be different (unless you have been doing both of course :) )

Poor you, go and have a steamy bath with some eucalyptus. (obviously can't suggest Whisky, lemon and sugar :D )

tranquility 10-11-2006 08:07 AM

T - I have to apologise, I was looking back over a couple of pages and saw you had already started a thread about RC in September. That'll teach me not to keep up to date on here.

People must get fed up repeating themselves :D

Although Phat should repeat herself at every occasion as she has done soooo well and is such good motivation :)

haha thats ok dont worry hunni from wat i can remeber i didnt have many replies anyway cos no one was really doing it then , i feel much more at home now here :) I did step on my scales this morning so i can compare later and i have lost 5lbs (19st 12lbs to 19st 7lbs) so i am really happy but i will see what there comes out like later its at 6.30pm so im gonna have dinner when i get back plus everything i eat is going through me right now i have a bad stomach and everytime i eat i have to run to the loo,i have just taken 2 imodium so i hope that helps. I have IBS so it only takes one thing to affect me and im on the loo. Sorry for the TMI.

Your right Phat is a great motivator , its always good ot hear those storys that work cos it gives us all hope and the courage to keep going week after week.

I'll update later on my WI @ class i should be back about 7.30pm cos i aint doing aerobics what with cold and stomach i seriously aint got the energy lol.

Have a good day

Bit disappointed as only lost 2lbs this week and as I'm still in the 1200 cal I thought it would be a bit more :(

But that's 6lbs in 2 weeks so I can't really complain :carrot:

Just hope it still comes off when I up the calories this week.

How's everyone else doing?

Sarah Ann 10-17-2006 05:32 AM

Well done on that 2lbs! I'd be completely delighted if I lost 2lb in a week.

treezuk 10-17-2006 05:58 AM

I agre with sarah , traqility 2lbs is a great loss per week and thats average for most people , i think im gonan be the same this week but im staying away from the scales so i mgiht be pleasently surprsise but i aint counting mmy chickens .

Thanks guys I am pleased really (I cheated and weighed myself in the gym at lunch time and it was another 3lb down, and I trust those scales more :D )

Anyway I'm under 11 1/2 stone which I haven't been for 6 years when I lost a lot of weight through stress (about 3 stone in about 4 months), and before that over 10 years ago :carrot:

Well done you two! I can't even remember when I last lost 2lb in a week - but the weight came off slow for me because of my PCOS, which gives you a slower metabolism, and insulin issues, etc. Slow and steady wins the race! It's exciting to see you doing so well - keep going! RC got me from a size 20 to a 12 in less than a year and with PCOS... so I love that skinny little woman (despite the fact she reminds me faintly of Margaret Thatcher...)
