I just went running in the park its still boiling but not as hot overhead as it was this morning and there was this guy who collapsed (he had no shirt on and looked drunk so prob not a surprise) but its boiling so don't forget your hats.

I've just drunk about a litre and a half of water and I'm still thirsty its shifted my headache though.

I've got the running thing badly. I was waiting for a bus back from the rugby today, and it was late because of the traffic. I was standing there thinking it's only 3 miles, I could have run it by now if I'd got my trainers on me...

I'm off to bed soon ready for the morning, I'm getting quite excited about it now!

I'm very hot and I'm not running just sitting. I can't find any summer clothes to buy (I'm a bit late). :halfempty

Its so hot I've been at work and its really hot in the hospital but its actually hotter outside for a change.

We've been visiting MIL today :) - nice lady - but it was so hot over there that we thought she was going to pass out. I think I read somewhere that the elderly, like babies, have problems with their body thermastats coping with heat. (Or something like that.) I did feel so sorry for her, she kept going grey and feeling wobbly but refused to go for a lie down.

I saw the latest pictures of the SIL who used to 'make general comments' (which everyone could tell were aimed towards me) about 'big' people being a waste of National Health resources, a nuisance to sit next to on aircraft, etc - since I last saw her she must have put on at least 5 stones. I usually avoid going there when she visits but I'm sure she's bigger than me now. :) :)

Well, it's here. My Race for Life is tomorrow! I gotta go bed early tonight...up at 7am to get ready to leave the house at 8 to drive to my friends to arrive by 9. Eeeep. I shall post how I did tomorrow when I get home!

Happy Birthday to me I'm having a quiet moment before I go back to my birthday barbeque. (Too hot to be sociable!)

I haven't got on the scales to see if I've reached my birthday target and with the amount I've eaten over the last couple of days I'm amazed my clothes still fit. Never mind, back to the gym and calorie counting tomorrow.

We went to a craft fayre and farmers' market this morning and came home with a whole load of organic meat of all different kinds and even more veg.
