Eng ger land Eng ger land Eng ger land :dz:
The streets will be a nice place tonight with people drinking since 5  Maybe they'll all fall asleep... probably in the middle of the road... That lunch does sound nice Sarah :T Apart from the prawns obviously :p I don't think I've ever had a prawn! Kyk don't leave ussssssssssss you don't need to see your family or friends :chin: |
 My sig has turned chav. :o
|
Why has your sig turned chav?
Well.... back from the gym. Never again! For someone who's about a size 12 she is incredibly unfit. She kept on moaning about things.... her feet.... her hair.... her feet.... her red face... her feet.... her make-up running.... her feet.... arghhhhhhhh! After 30 mins of her whinging I gave up and said I couldn't cope with the :censored: awful music they play there - so I turned my iPod up high and ignored her. When I finished my workout she was sitting on the floor drinking coke looking :censored: off - I doubt she'll want my company again :lol3: :lol3: All the way home she yacked on and on about my DH - I'm going to have to do something about this but I'm not sure what. Any ideas?? |
The streets were horrid, I made the mistake of trying to get to Spanish at just the time the football finished, and my normal route is past the place where it looked like there must have been a big screen from the number of people streaming out.
The bus home was fun too :( On the other hand, my new Spanish teacher is absolutely mad, but possibly the best one I've had so far. 3.7 miles this morning, rest day tomorrow. And shopping for a weekend of cooking, I didn't do any last weekend with going to London so I'm looking forward to cooking proper food again. |
Sarah my sig has an Eng ger land flag. :p Or are you asking why it's there? I'm easily confused.
I had to close the window early all I could hear was drunks playing football and Eng ger land chanting. I do not like that! I can only imagine what the bus was like YP, I had the worst bus journey ever once in Newcastle with football 'fans'. Oh and my worst coach journey ever was from Newcastle with drunk football fans as well. |
I stayed home and packed!!! My case isn't big enough, it can't be that I've packed too much stuff!!! Oh well, at least I can't buy anything when I'm over there :D
I'm getting realy excited now :hyper: I'll be back though, promise!!! |
I can't believe it's come round so fast, hope you have a really lovely time. I bet you buy stuff though ;) :D
|
Have a great time, Kylie.
Veggie, I didn't notice your sig - you need to find yourself a bigger St George's flag. DH tells me he got so excited by the footie that he cheered and jumped around at the second goal and scared the wits out of the dogs. When I got home they had taken themselves out in to the garden and were sitting there looking very worried. I finally weighed myself after my two weeks 'holiday' and I've gained 4lbs - which is strange because I haven't eaten anything like that amount of extra food and I've exercised a lot - but during the same time I've lost some inches because I can finally fit in to a beautiful pale pink linen Next size 16 skirt I bought myself a few months ago - in fact its actually quite loose round the waist. DH is looking embarrassed - he says he dropped the scales while tiling the bathroom. |
Kylie... You can always buy another suitcase... ;)
Sarah :censored: MEN! Maybe you should get him to buy you an all singing all dancing pair of scales? I do like the chavvy sig veg ;) Well we were let out early for good behaviour yesterday and I got to kickboxing about half an hour early - most of the roads were clear! I am now sporting a bruise the size of Mars on my right knee - just in time for my :beach: holiday - check out my lovely green legs! I also got a lovely dead leg from instructor Lee :tantrum: and I impressed some Ju Jitsu guys who were visiting! :D They reckoned I could whoop all their girlies' asses (probably all at the same time!!!) They were very impressed! I now want to go kick *** at ju jitsu too! :hyper: Lee says we can go in a few weeks! :D Nice tomorrow :D I need to pack when I get home, so I won't be going to the gym unfortunately  I think I am taking a nice well-earned rest from exercise while I'm there. I am going to continue to eat healthily (which will be a first on holiday) I just have to make the right choices and not eat too much french bread and cheese! :o |
Remind me never to upset you 2 frus!!
SarahAnn your neighbour sounds a right pain always going on about your hubbie. If she is not still sulking about "your behaviour" at the gym then maybe the next time she goes on about him you could say something about her mentioning him a lot, then she knows you are on to her. |
Peacock 2 - I'm used to it. We all know she does it and she knows that we know - in fact the entire road and all her friends knows she does it - the only person that doesn't find it embarrasing is her. Her partner first told me what she was doing just after we moved here and he has told/asked her to stop but she can't seem to help herself.
DH and I have talked about it and decided the best policy for peace all round is to just ignore the flirting and move the conversation along as soon as it starts- but I do notice that he avoids her whenever possible nowadays. |
I just scared one of the guys at work with my bruise! I'm wearing a knee-length dress too! Just to show it off! Well it is hot...
|
It's really stressful when you have a neighbour like that though. I suppose its good that it's not just you, but your husband also annoyed about it. It could be worse. If it gets really bad, I would probably just sit her down and talk to her, perhaps you and your husband together, but I would need a good shot of dutch courage beforehand!
Everyone is going away, I hope you all have a great time  |
Sarah - I'm glad your husband is aware and is not interested and the two of you can talk and laugh about it! At least you know that nothing's going to happen and it's just annoying rather than threatening!
Can't you get DH to be really horrible to her one day - put her off. You could get him to say, "Well I heard you didn't fair too well at the gym. My Sarah's SOOOOO much fitter than you, eh?" |
What if she then starts going to the gym regularly! Poor Sarah would have to put up with even more of her!
