okay, Ive jinxed it now, there's a possiblity that me and my bf wil be on tv, interviewed, wateva.
Its because how we met etc
Well even tho this would be a cool opportunity Im scared that Ill look horrible and fat. I ment I look in the mirrow before my day and am satisfied/pleased with my appearance, but thruout the day if I see a reflextion, its not good. Cameras hate me, I look awlful inpics and video.
if I do it Im gonna have a ton of make up on, cover my arms and wear black,
anyone have other advice?
I am sure you'll look gorgeous. most of us would give our right leg to be your weight!!! hey if I cut my huge leg off, with my thunder thighs, I probably would be your weight LOL.
Don't wear tents, keep your clothes as tight fitting as possible, any voluminous clothing will add weight. Black sounds good. And where shiny eye shadow like Urban Decay and a matt base. And a lovely gloss lip stick. That will make your features stand out.
I personally think I photograph terribly, but everyone else thinks I look nice in photos, perhaps they secretly think I look horrendous in 3d and look better flat
Well, black isn't a bad choice, but you might do even better in something of a different color with a lot of vertical lines. I don't necessarily mean stripes, but something with obvious vertical seams, or maybe a blazer worn open over a blouse, or even a long scarf or long necklace that adds to the vertical line. Plain black worn all over can look sort of harsh in TV lighting.
Years ago I lost over 40lbs and went from a size 18/20 to a 10. I got loads of compliments on the way. When I was finally down to a size 10 I'll never forget one woman I saw at playgroup every week said to me one day *I hadn't noticed til just now you've lost all that weight because you were wearing black and that's what people wear when they're fat, isn't it?* I think she had a point.
Ever since then, I always think plain black makes people look fat, as it is what everyone wears when they feel fat! It doesn't really look slimming at all but sort of clues people in to the fact you're trying NOT to look fat! So I'd wear anything but just black! You are a good weight for most heights. How tall are you?
Bear in mind if they're just interviewing you, it's probably going to be shots of just your head or near close-ups anyway. Also, don't believe the thing you hear that you look 10lb heavier on TV - one of my old mates is an actor and on a lot - he truly looks no different in reality to on the screen. It's just not true.
Wear something you like that you feel happy in, and that reflects your personality - and enjoy!
LOL I ALWAYS USED TO WEAR BLACK and I was a size 10 mind you I thought I was fat when I was a size 10 now i'm fatter i don't care what colour I wear tell us more..what do you mean by "how we met"
Tell more! Which programme and how did you meet?????
I'd just wear whatever you feel most comfortable in - just make sure its not tight, especially over the boobs. You so often see people on TV whose clothes are too small - even the skinny celebs make that mistake and it just doesn't look nice!
You might not be able to wear black. When my friend was on trisha (yes classy I know) she was told not to wear black, something to do with the lighting I think.
1. Im 4'11'', so heavy for my height
2. Its a promotional thing about how we met on the run up to valentines day, so passed on to other media, like bbc, daily mail maybe.
3. We met on the internet telephoney thing called Skype!
