I'm going to Oxford tonight over night for work, so we'll find out how good I do at eating when away. I have a feeling it's going to be tricky!! I'm planning to swim tonight when I get to the hotel and swim again in the morning, and perhaps avail myself of the gym facilities.

Talk at work is about Paul McKenna, which I didn't watch last night.

I missed Supersize Surgery, but I did video it.

And what did we all think about the big losses on Celbrity Fit Club last night???

Oooh Oxford! Whatever you do, stay away from a trendy pub with very nice fruity beer! I'd tell you the name, so you'd know where not to go, but I can't remember it! Also stay away from the kebab shop opposite the cinema that does the best cheese and chips!

kykaree 01-18-2006 04:05 AM

We haven't any time to do anything bad!!!! We get in at 8.15 tonight, go to hotel, go to pool, watch Desperate Housewives, go to bed, get up, go to gym, go to conference, get taxi to station, get train, come home!!! Which is just as well, I love fruit beer!!!!

2frustrated 01-18-2006 04:09 AM

That's ok then! Glad you've got it all planned out! :D

Have a nice time Ms Swimmy. I'm looking forward to desperate housewives I'm going out but will be back for that. :D

micheleherts 01-18-2006 12:56 PM

Hello hope all is well with you all

The amounts those two men lost were astounding, and I was of course delighted to see Annie doing so well. It would be great if they went into the nutritional side of things a little more.

I then watched supersize surgery. The husband of Jackie is just awful, no support and looks like a walking heart attack himself. I'd love a bit of a tummy tuck but I was scared having two caesarians!!!

I am feeling good, my hormones are back at a normal level and my urge to eat like a piggie has gone. The scales will be bought out either Friday or
Saturday.

Take good care

Michele x

Have fun in Oxford :)

I'm off out for yoga in about half an hour, but I'll be back for Desperate Housewives :D

The gym was horribly busy this morning, people on every bit of equipment and most of the floor space too. I hope I can get a treadmill in the morning!

I got a cheap suit from Zara today, so I'm happy. I'm also scared though, my number turned up for the Blackpool half marathon :o

2frustrated 01-18-2006 03:33 PM

:cp: WTG YP! Wooooo a half marathon! I'm saving that for next year! I'd be so excited!

I heard about celebrity fit club, to lose over a stone in a week  but really impressive! If I had the money and the time to be in a weightloss bootcamp I'd be a stick by now!

Just done some weights and feeling all at peace with the world. I was thinking about my old school and how bad and depressed I felt while I was there. I'm now starting to get a handle on those feelings and completely understand what it was all about. I'm going back there for a careers morning in March and it just made me think about things. I feel so unbelievably sorted now. I really hope some of the nasty people who made my life miserable have fallen... That's so mean! But I know at least a few of them who have! Ah justice is great!

Ok enough *****iness!

YP have a lovely time at Yoga (although you're probably back by now) and I hope Ms Swimmy is getting her swim in rather than the fruit beer! ;)

Michelle, I'm glad you're less piggly now ;) hello veg, cat, dip, maz, people I've forgotten :o

:goodvibes:

YP1 01-18-2006 04:45 PM

I'm back in. I wouldn't have said no to fruit beer, partcularly the stuff that comes with a chocolate at All Bar One :D

I've got my pile of bags ready for tomorrow, gym, work and Spanish between leaving the house and coming back in. An entire days worth of meals and three sets of clothes :dizzy:

Dippy Chip 01-18-2006 05:51 PM

YP, you're so organised! Such an example to us all! ;)

Frus, you've gone well to get over your anti-school feelings at your tender age - it's 24 years since I walked away from my all-girl grammar school vowing never to set foot in the place ever again - and I still haven't! I'm like an elephant, and have very long memories of the awful place! It's so good to know I've matured and put things in perspective   .

Janey

2frustrated 01-19-2006 03:46 AM

 It's not the place I hated, just the pupils! I got badly bullied for being fat and I had other "issues" but I loved school and the teachers and the classes! It was an all girls school too! :yikes:

YP, getting ready in the evening... That's where I've been going wrong! I usually make all my meals and pack my bags in the morning... I'm sure I will have forgotten something today, between getting dolled up for reporters and cooking breakfast and lunch and dinner and packing my kickboxing gear...

Dippy Chip 01-19-2006 11:41 AM

Frus, what vital piece of information have I missed? Why were you needing to get dolled up for reporters?

Janey

YP1 01-19-2006 12:20 PM

I went to an all girls school too - there's a theme here!

This morning I did 5 miles on the treadmill, and I'm now microwaving my nice healthy tea before heading off to Spanish.

cat90 01-19-2006 04:51 PM

Yeh Frus :nose: Spill the beans  what are you famous for? ;)

Oh Kyk :nono: forget Desperate Housewives :coach: GET OUT ON THE TOWN!

veggie 01-19-2006 07:01 PM

Forget Desperate Housewives? No no NO. :p I love it.
