HI everyone, I joined a few weeks ago but had a bad couple of weeks :o First my birthday, then a meal out, then a weekend in Glasgow drinking tons and watching Coldplay, then a few days on training in the south. Definitely not an average couple of weeks for me, but we need to have fun sometimes ;)
So first of all I put on 2 pounds, but then last week I stuck to my diet properly and lost 4, so it was all worth it. This week I've started off well and it's my official weigh in day on Monday so hopefully I'll have lost a few more by then! I have a mini goal I've set myself and I need to lose 12 pounds by the Bank Holiday in August...bit of a challenge but I'm absolutely determined! Congrats to everyone who has lost this week! |
I've been counting every calorie and keeping to a low amount this week, and guess what? I've bloody gained half a pound! :censored: Grrr!

I've decided to give up weighing myself so often. Cynics would say that this is because I've been discouraged by seeing fluctuations this week.
And I'd quite possibly agree... I sat down and worked out that even if I had absolute freedom to do what I want, I probably wouldn't eat or exercise much different to how I'm doing at the moment, so take away the scale and I might feel more sane. Fingers crossed! |
I've been on my mini-plateau for about 10 days now, but I'm being very mature about it :tantrum: :crazy: :tantrum: :crazy: :tantrum: :crazy: :tantrum: - this too shall pass!
The bl*%dy scales are just being stubborn 'cos I'm half a pound away from weighing in the ONEs. It'll be a fight to the death...so lets hope the scales don't win :p ! Janey :dizzy: |
I weighed in two days early today, coz I have been distressed, fed up and down right annoyed at my recent plateau. I got on the scales, shook my head, got on again, shook my head, and then went and got the lady gym instructor to double check, yes it's official, 4 pounds down!!!! We might get to 200lb before Christmas 2008 after all!!!! Sending you all good weight loss karma!!!!

And well done to everyone else keep up the good work and the pounds will soon disappear. I dont weigh in officially until Mondays but being a diet counsellor with a nice set of scales i have to jump on everyday ha ha ha. Im down so far since Monday 3.2lbs so im a happy bunny. I,ve maintained, (or stayed the bl**dy same) as well.
Quite good really as I'm not really trying at the moment,Sick of slimming world food, and mad for bread and cider this week. I'm thinking of having a week on slim-fast so I get a good loss and, don't have to think what to have to eat for a change. Don't tell slimming world though. Carole |
They won't hear anything from me ;) I couldn't do slim fast though. I'm sure I didn't stand on the scales long enough yesterday :chin: hmm I hopped on and off far too quickly I don't think it had time to register a loss. :lol:
