:Bravo: girlies... I will be joining in the daily thread again to post my shaking the wobbly bits about. Curves for me this morning... I LOVE curves... and I know it works. My friend bought a treadmill and has said I can use it, so seeing as we can't walk far outside with the dogs right now, I'll take her up on her offer. I don't think I'll be running on it though, let alone doing 5K or 5 miles or whatever you lot are doing... I'm nowhere near that fit yet ( will I ever be I ask myself)?
Ok... am going to clean, really, I am... here I am... walking towards the dishwasher.. then wiping counters down... then heading upstairs to make bed... and so on and so on.............

We don't have sun for the sunloungers, but it's somewhere to sit...

Today I ran 6k (5k in 32 minutes 17 seconds, the last 1k as a bit of a cooldown), did some weights and swam for half an hour.

Just think of the humidity as an extra way to shed some water retention and fat cells girls. I hear you're in for a heat wave over there this weekend... heading up to 80F.

Get your cossies out and run around in your sprinklers to keep cool

Just done full body weights, gym was dead, I wonder why, it being a Friday night and too hot to move...

Hurrumph, any benefits of the humidity and water retention have been obviated by the TOM from ****. I feel rotten, but I did lower body weights and swum 20 lengths today, so I am a happy bunny. I am going to eat something evil tonight, probably cake, to celebrate dhs birthday.

Good weights session and a 1500 metre swim this morning, also a short 10 minute run.

Hour long walk and 32 minutes free weights. Have blisters the size of Brazil on the ball of each foot so I guess its cycling tomorrow.

I broke through 32 minutes for 5k this morning, together with weights and a 500 metre swim.

Ouch - still got sore feet so I haven't done ANY exercise today. I hoped to go cycling but I wussed out 'cos I thought pressing down on the pedals would be too painful.

Tomorrow I'll have to stop being such a big jessie and go out on my bike after work.

You have very pretty feet though Janey Hope the blisters heal over soon. Sorry to hear your not enjoying your heat wave. My Mum and her partner are in heaven having just left here, Ted gets to wear all his new shorts again that he bought while out here... bless him. He thought they might have to go in the wardrobe until the next time they head out this way.
Exercise for today... swimming laps of pool... bloody lovely at 86 degrees water temp and then truning oneself over from back to front on lilo... no mean feat if you haven't got the knack I can tell ya. Thankfully, I do have the knack, but have a friend who doesn't and I burn more calories laughing hysterically at her, trying to balance herself on the lilo and then lay back, where at that time, she usally does a back flip into the water, a sumersault under the water and comes up spluttering and telling me to shut up, before she tries it again Bless...

One for each km I ran on the treadmill this morning.

I RAN 10K!!!!! For the first time ever, in a relatively credible time of 67 minutes (the first time I ran 5k, less than 2 months ago, I did it in 35 minutes, so I did twice the distance at a faster speed).

After that I understandably didn't do much else. And tomorrow I might skip cardio and just do weights, or at the most do some gentle walking or swimming because my legs are a bit tired now.

But I don't care.

I ran 10k

Well done, YP - that's a fantastic achievement!

Just come back from an hour's cycle ride - it's still hot and sticky out there, but at least it's not 111 degrees like it is in Arizona!!

PS = thanks for saying I have pretty feet, Brit - at least one bit of me is presentable!
