They say 10 - 15 most people can lose weight on. I've averaged about 24 and lost between 1.5 - 4 pounds a week. I'm trying to stick to 20. I haven't talked about it with my consultant.

drat drat and double drat, missed Duran Duran night, knew I should have read the posts last night.

My eating has been very good, have eaten lots and lots and lots and lots, is very very very good. I'm on 10 syns, I would like to lose over 5 stone, not sure just how far I want to go will make it up when I get there.

Off to plan tomorrow's eating, am getting very organised, taking plastic tubs of salad to work for lunch and everything. Half of my work will be waiting with baited breathe for my weigh in results on Thursday morning, I have told half the world I am doing this diet.

See you tomorrow

NO we do not! I would imagine the food would be terrible!

To remind yourself of important dates do you have a calender on your computer whcih wil flash up important dates? It may help from having you "banged up".

Hope that woman turns up this morning, we need Kirsty here, not sure prison food would meet slimming world guidelines.

Am off to Edinburgh this afternoon for a change, usually go to Glasgow. Am taking the train as the office is 5 minutes from the station and it means i will get a lunch break. Made sandwiches this morning as I thought it is not always that dignified to eat a salad on a crowded train.

Weigh in tonight. I am so looking forward to it, would have gone this morning if I could. Am going to have some syn free wine when I get home from SW but only if I have lost some weight. It is only syn free becuase I have until next wednesday to get rid of it out of my body.

Had a weird conversation with a woman at work today about food and weight. She wonders if you eat a bar of chocolate with 20g of fat then how long does it take for the fat to count on your body weight. Whereas I am off the opinion that if I eat a pound of grapes or a pound of chocolate I will instantly weigh a pound heavier as it is part of me until nature takes it's course.

It won't show up on her body at all unless she pigs out on a lot more stuff

Kirsty, hope the court proceedings went off OK i'm surprised that the other woman has'nt been banged up for not appearing

Went out yesterday and got all my 'jobs' done so that i could stay home and play on my excavator today and hubby has gone out and he did'nt check the diesel, water and oil before he left as i asked him to do so now i can't play on it looks like it will be boring old digging and planting by hand i suppose i could sand down some furniture instead. I bought a side table at the local charity store yesterday to put in the spare room it was only $4 so last night i sanded it a bit to see if it would take seeing as its veneer and not proper wood and i can so i'll get on with that today.

Default hi all im freeeeee

well as you can probably all tell they didnt lock me up but it was a close shave i arrived at court at the un godly hour of nine am and had a not so lovely surprise to let you all understand this person {and i use the term loosely}assaulted made up false allegations and generally made life **** for my downstairs neighbours it was tommys ex girlfreind and i was a witness to this girl trying top kick in their door and assaulting tommy so i get to court and was standing outside having a fag when this nutter stood beside me talking to herself and approaching everyone that looked like a lawyer stating that shed been assaulted so someone got security and they got this lass a chair and found her lawyerand got the police and of course me being nosy just stood their and listned to what was going on apparantly the three witnesses against her had got a hold of her and gave her a good kicking and as the policemen asked for names she blurted out mine and my two freinds who hadnt even got there yet so the policewoman came and asked me if id seen anything and i said to her youd better not ask me as im supposed to have assaulted her she just sort of looked at me and went over to the lassie and said do you recognise that lady and she said no but she might have seen them attacking me the policewoman said she should have according to you she assaulted you well everybody collapsed about laughing heres this great big tall strapping lassie and poor wee me with my walking stick well that was the start of a very interesting day and to top it all im now going to be cited again to appear against this nutter again as she has been charged with waistng police time making false allegations and waisting court time and staff
so i got home at three oclock and was so dammned tired i promtly sat down and fell asleep and have done no housework and ordered takeaway for tea{at seven thirty im going to get done for cruelty} and my poor dogs never got fed till 7.45 so they arent talking to me and because of the takeaway ill probably be weight plus 10 tomorrow at slimming world sal the next time your in edinburgh give me a call and ill meet you for lunch you can steer me away from do you know they call to me when im asleep PEACOCK thanks very much for that very good advice im going to sit and put in all my appointments later im not normally this bad but i think its been that long since i was originally cited {november last year} that i completely forgot SAL while i remember i will put that goulash recipie in later as im nice abd awake now the only thing is the weights and measyrements are for a family of four so you can either feed the clan or freeze some or just cut everything in halfwell im going to go and get semi organized and will be back later thanks for all the good wishes and one day i will find out why it always happens to me you know crowded bus stop and the nutcase or alckie always talk to me

sal ive just read your post eat a pound of grapes and then jump on the scales and please let us know as i for one now cant stop thinking about it i know it takes up to 12 hours for the body to metabolise cetain foods the more processed the longer it takes and thats why your supposed to eat lots of natural products as your body knows how to metabolise those and can break them down quicker and because they dont hang around they dont get a chance to turn to fat {i took biology in school as i wanted to be a vet until i volounteered at my local pdsa and they had to put a dog to slep and couldnt ever see my self being able to do that so went into nursing instead and became an auxilliary nurse apparently i have no problem euthanising people oops i never said that }

LInus! How could you sattack that poor nutter ..er person with your walking stick! I was nearly waloped once by a woman's walking stick. To be honest I don't think she needed the stick as she was waving it around in the air and I had to duck fast. Errr .... haven't been to Hammersmith in the past 3 years have you?!

I am glad you think I gave you helpful advice-I guess this was about the calender. Mind you, take everythig I say with a very small pinch of salt. I have a calender on outlook and despite many reminders flashing up at me everyday, I still managed to forget both my Brother's (13 April) and SIL (21st April) birthdays. I think they will forgive me. I think the trouble is I cannot cope with Easter and Birthdays. Mind you, mine is just after Christmas so people forget mine too!

My mum would routinely forget to make my brother a cake and then dash out to get a Batternberg cake. That became a tradition, except now he makes his own b.day cake (not Batternberg).

Will watch out next time I am in Edinburgh in case I see you walloping people with your stick Kirsty. What a nutter that woman is, talk about locking up and throwing away the key.

Am still on a high from last night, although I probably put back on a couple of pounds with the wine I drank. Just been for a walk into Stirling at lunchtime, it poured while I was out and now I'm back at my desk the sun has gone out, sods law.

Am having a red day today, had a massive beef salad with sweet chilli sauce, was great until I worked out that the sauce had 5.5syns in it. It was still yummy though. Brought one of SW cook books last night I am going to try and make pork burgers tonight, apparently they are syn free.
