I did make 'em work :cp: i did the hardest workout on my treadmill starting off at 0% incline and increasing in speed and incline every minute until i'm at the max 15% :cp: the time went by really fast and i did 2.25mls and burned 300cals (according to the computer :s: ) I'm gonna do the same now..BBL

Well i did'nt do the same..i did'nt do anything :lol: but yesterday i stacked firewood for 3hrs so that must have burned some cals because it nearly broke my back :lol:

Only 1.20mls yesterday :( was a bit knackered due to the fact that i added ankle weights :stress: did'nt wear them this morning and managed 3mls :D

Swam about 30 lengths of a shorter pool on Wednesday, walked 1.5 miles today and refused an inviation to have lunch in McDonalds. No swimming tonight.

Did nothing either, Ray didn't come back in time for me to walk to town, is a nice sunny day to day, a bit cold outside I think, but I am going to do something fit and healthy

Strolled down to the town at lunchtime today, is still a mile walk I suppose no matter how fast I walk.

Need to have a serious talk with myself, not moving this butt of mine enough.

Good girl cathy, I didn't get to Curves but I did a nice brisk walk with Pen and Lew tonight, for 30 mins, that must have worked off a few greasy fries...(hoping anyway).

Just walked 1.5 miles, walked faster than usual and was even slightly out of breathe when I got back to work. One day I dream of running that far ..............

Kept my promise (Chris :s: ) 2mls on hill walking program..5k bike riding and about 10 mins of weights :D

2mls on the weightloss program today :) OK i was easy on myself :shrug: it is Friday..ya know ;)

Ahhhhhhhhhh, Teel, that was so nice. I love my kids so dearly and am only two years away from the first graduation actually, and I really hope that he feels I am some sort of godess by then, hopefully I'll be a lot lighter to make that hope come true. Thanks for making my day. :)

Cathy, question? Do you walk on your treadmill or jog? I have never really got on well with treadmills in the past, find when I don't look at my feet and try to keep coordinated, I have a tendancy to fall off and look extremely daft in the middle of a gym.
Well done on all your miles you've put in, you're doing great. I didn't get to curves today, I've got a jippy tum, not feeling very nice at all so thought I'd better give it a miss. NO walk either as number one son has volunteered to walk Pen and Lew and Ijust got in my jammies, ready for a run to the loo again, or hopefully, a night on the couch watching Friends and later ER.

I rarely jog..don't have the stamina :lol: but there is a program on my treadmill where i walk at 3.5mph for 2mins and then jog at 5mph for 1min..that is a good workout :stress: At the moment i'm using the hillwalking program and the weightloss one and i'm getting a little faster too :cp: i can do the hillwalking program at a speed of 4.1mph.

Am feeling much better thanks, thanks for the info too....felt a bit jealous that you were jogging for three miles a day actually.....glad to know it's only a minute at a time, I can do that too on the ratation off of a machine at Curves, well it's only 30 secs really, but I jog it and it feels great...couldn't do it at all when I first started there six months back.

Walked 1.5 miles this lunchtime, gained a whole point, it took me 33 minutes to walk a mile and a half, thought I had walked it faster than that

Cathy you put me to shame, only did 1 mile yesterday.

Am amount to drag the boys out on the bikes for a couple of miles, they don't know it yet and will no doubt moan as it is freezing outside. But with a jacket on and a promise of a stop at the shop on the way back up they will be persuaded, either that or frog matched along

Practically had to drag Sean out of the house, but once he got onhis bike he was great and we all really enjoyed it. Even saw a boat smash into a bridge, the bridge is low and the water was high, so the mast didn't make it through, even when folded down. Amused the boys but not much fun for the boat owner.

Am going to get everybody fed and organised and the washing all sorted, beds stripped the whole lot and then do an aerobics tape for 30 minutes, will probably kill my leg muscles has been so long since I've done one.

Am also taking the boys swimming, so that will use some cals, but will be more of a splash around than some serious exercise
