Still same height but now 14stone and fit in enough 18's to say I'm a a size 18 Some still don't fit but that's duer to being pear shaped, over hanging tummy from 3 c-sections, etc. but size 20's definatly too big now.
It's strange, there was only a few pounds between a 24 and a 20 for me yet 2 stones between a 20 and 18.
Hey Rainbow...I think that's definitely due to bug sizing being totally arbitrary...once you get down to a 16 is fairly standard in most shopws with a few exceptions...but the biggie sizes are just like ...whatever
I'm just over 5'6" and bang on 11st and I'm a UK12 except for in Asda, yesterday I fitted into a UK10 pair of jeans in Asda, if they hadn't been the most horribly cut item that ever graced my body, I'd have bought 'em just for the label.
I still can't get the zip up on regular fit knee boots though...
I'm 5'10 and currently 14 st 1/197lb. I've been size 18 in most clothes for about the last 9lb. I started wearing some 18s at 14st 11 but not in every item of clothing I had, now everything in that size fits. I also think Dorothy Perkins (and many stores in the same group, such as the Debenhams sub-brands) tend to come up bigger.
I'm 5'7 and weigh about 141 - 143 pounds. I'm currently a size 8 (usually on top or in dresses due to no boobage!) and a size 10 on the bottom (Size 4/6 in US terms).
I am 5'2", hovering at 190, and wear a 12 or 14 on the bottom and anything between a medium and a "holy crap my boobs are never gonna fit in that!" on the top. That is to say, anywhere between a medium and a extra-large, depending on cut. I am usually in a large on the top. These are all USian sizes and measurements.
I tried on a 14 in Dillards recently and was annoyed to find it far too large, as it was on a delicious sale. No sense buying it on sale if you'll have to ruin it taking it in. How I can make being smaller than I expected a problem, I don't know, but it's a talent. Heh.
I am 5'2" approx 11ish st and tend to vary between a uk 14 and uk 16. I will be happy if i can get back down to a 12 and ecstatic if i make to a 10, though not sure if that will work cos of boobage. I was 10/12 before i started gaining weight with DD cup, i am now a G cup, although my band size hasn't change at all since i was 15, i'm now 23.
Scuse the bio, but I am hoping to give 2010 a bloody good skinnying and am just looking back, as a sort of kickstart!
I am 5'5"
At 20 I was 14st ill for a long time with a run of viral infections - size 24!
At 24 I got married - 13st - size 18
Went back to 14st - size 22
At 32 went to Uni, 14st size 22
At 36 finished Uni, 14st size 16 - I worked as an aerobics instructor having qualified in my 2nd year!
Stayed at 14st, size 16 until ill health hit again....
Now 15st 7lb - size 18
I am hoping that this year, with my health a little more stable I can get myself back into the gym, perhaps play netball and lose size and that damned extra stone and a bit!
So I aim to be size 16 and fitter... whatever my weight.... by my 45th birthday - or when the new college year starts in September.
So I am off the find a tracker that is based on size/inches rather than pounds!
I'm 5'4" and 165lbs (11st11lb). I'm wearing mainly UK12s in tops and the couple of dresses I own. Most of my skirts are UK14s/US10s but several of these are getting quite large on the waist. Trousers/jeans I always need a 14 to accommodate the still ample rear, although in many I have the back gape at the waist. Bra size I'm a 34DD but as I'm wearing these on the tightest hook, may be more like a 32E.
Gosh, how do you do it? You mus tbe really muscular.
I am 5.3 1/2" and started off at 11st7lb. At that time, my size 14 wardrobe was getting too tight, and I panicked.
I am now 9st9lb and a size 12. Two of my trousers are getting too lose and when I hit the sales today, I`ll try some 10s and see how they fit.
As an update, was 13st when I started this thread, and am now 12st 4
I am 5'9 and can comfortably wear pretty much all dresses and tops at size12, Have now moved to 34C as new Bra size.
Trousers with defined waistband, am just on the cusp of 12, ie not fitting in every shop, but ca't bear to buy 14s that do fit!!!
By the way, I am talking in UK/Irish sizes here (Size 12 = Us size 8 and so on)
I'm 5'3, currently weigh 158.8lbs and wear UK size 12-14. I've been a size 12 for the last few years and it doesn't seem to matter whether I am just under 150 or just above 160, I still wear 12, though it can occasionlly be quite tight depending on where the clothing is from. I find smart trousers can be extremely tight at some places whereas jeans and skirts easily fit me. I'm hoping to get down to a size 8 this year.

Im 5'5". I normally wear (at 145-150) size 10 tops and jackets and size 12 skirts/jeans. However, in a tight knit jumper I just give up, a 12 looks good on my body but my upper arms-forget it. I've (cough) put on 11lbs since October so am currently squeezing into my 12s but I'm a definite 14 now. No new clothes for me then.
