This is actually quite easy - but sounds a bit long winded.
First of all you need to have your chosen image saved somewhere where you will find it easily on your computer. I have got mine in a folder I call pictures. Your image needs to be less than 40 kilobytes and saved in a gif, jpg, jpeg or txt format.
Then, when you have done your reply post in your usual way, slide down the screen a bit and you will see a section which says 'Attach file' on the left hand side and next to that is a box with a 'Browse' button next to it. Click on the 'Browse' button and a little wizard box will pop up that says 'choose file' - you need to then locate your chosen image on your computer and click on it so that the name of the image appears in the file name box at the bottom, then click 'Open'. (You will see that the 'address' of your chosen image will appear in the box next to the 'Browse' button.
Then click on 'Submit Reply' and 3FC should upload your image (which may take a little while depending on how large the image is and how powerful your modem is).
Hope it works - if it doesn't then perhaps you might have something wrong with your 'Options' which doesn't allow you to upload images.
Now... I am (hopefully) attaching the gif of Piglet talking which you liked when I used it as my avatar. If you right hand click on it and same it - then you can upload it and use it as your avatar if you want.
