Hi guys

I stayed the same this week A wierd week for me with DH being away I ate more than usual but sensible foods so it could have been worse. Been to aerobics tonight and feel all motivated and ready to go again.

Something nice happened to me today; I was at my friends, and she said I looked like I'd lost some weight - yippee. Also, my jeans feel really lose around the waist - dead chuffed. So Sarah that's 9lbs in total so far this year - not brilliant but not bad either.

Keep up the good work guys - see you later.

Default Brilliant

How lovely - what a brilliant feeling - I hope I feel like that soon, the sort of feeling you'd pay a fortune for. Well done!

Angry

I think there must definitely be something wrong with the scale. I tried to measure my BMI on it yesterday and it was registering a BMI of 47. Which I thought was incredibly high.

So this morning I entered the weight it registered me at on the WW site and my BMI is not 47. Gonna ring John Lewis today and see what they say about the scales. Hopefully they will take them back.

Just a quick question. I am assuming that the BMI indicator on the WW site is accurate???? Cause I have just weighed on my lovely Tanita scales again and they have come up with a different BMI from this morning.

The WW BMI might be set a bit high - just tried it and mine came out at 37 where the doctor made it 35 before Christmas.

Either way I got to get it down.

Here's a link to a BMI calculator which is a bit more 'finely tuned' than the WW one... BUT IGNORE THE REST OF THE SITE... YUCK!!!

Good idea, Carol - here's mine

(Original start weight April 01: 16st 3lbs)
Start Weight this time (02 Jan 02): 14st 10lbs
Current Weight: 13st 13lbs
Target Weight: 10st 7lbs
Total lost since 02/01: 11lbs
Remainder to be lost: 3st 6lbs
Current BMI: 31
Loss this week: 2lbs

I just checked my BMI - I am still 'obese' I have got to go down another 4 lbs to suddenly become 'slightly overweight'.

Now listen you two - don't get depressed - you are doing something about it!!! You should go back to the calculator and put in your weight/height before you started dieting and see how much it has come down.... What a pair you two are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BMI at heaviest weight I was 38.6 and severely obese am now 36.4 and still severely obese. Got to get to 15 stone before I am 'just' obese. Far too depressing.
