I spent yesterday touring scrap yards. Not my fave pass time but a neccessity. Some idiot smashed into my other halfs car on Weds night right outside our house. And they didn't stop. A neighbour saw it all happen. They also hit another car further up the street. Without the car reg the cops can't do anything. Today I am going to ring a few scrap yards further a field as no one local has a car in that I'm looking for.
To add to this T.O.M arrived early again. At least it will be out of the way before weigh in.

Watch the skies Sarahgrace, what hits here, usually heads to Blighty afterwards....

Off out to dig a car out of the drive way

Rotten news about the car, Knightbabe. I always get steamed up on tv when the police have to try and catch these idiots.

I wetn Christmas shopping on Saturday and Sunday to get the last bits and pieces. Without a car I had to go out 3 x on Saturday and 2 x on Sunday! I am fed up of shops now!!!

Just read a rather nice note from Waitrose. Ok I don't eat turkey and I rarely shop at Waitrose (not too near me) but apparently their usual supplier of organic turkey has been hit by this Avian flu thing so had to kill the birds so the store apparently offered the next best thing to its customers - free range turkeys and a £10 voucher. Apparently some people sent the voucher back asking them to give it to the farmer and his family. Doesn't it make you all warm and glowy inside to hear that?

I have no idea what I'm having for Christmas dinner. I hope I can get away with M&S pasta while everyone else eats proper dinner again. :sssh: :p :xcheer:

Hurry up amazon marketplace. :tantrum: :present: You feel smug doing your shopping online until the big wait starts...

My OH now has a bright red door on his car. Will get it sprayed after christmas to match the rest of his car.
For the first time since 2000 we have a christmas tree. Although have had to put it on the dining table out of the reach of the puppy.
All the pressies are wrapped, just the last minute food shopping to do. OH finishes work on 21st and is off until Jan 2nd. We'll probably end up falling out spending so much time together.
Got Uni results today - I passed. Just need to complete another year to get my degree.

Well done on your results Knightbabe.

My sister has put a choc reindeer by the tree I'm wondering how long I can go without eating it. :o She has already eaten hers.
