Hello everyone

I am still here.

Just had a mad old month. Everything is fine here thank god. My boys are great and my parents are in good form. I've just been madly busy as I've been doing a Saturday job looking after clients with a learning disability. I absolutely love it, but for the past month they have been short staffed so I've done a couple of hours for them in the evening after my own work. So I've been worn out.

As well as that my husband's brother was here for three weeks from Australia with his son. I kindly but foolishly gave them our bed so hubby and I were on airbed in the living room for three whole weeks. I'm not the better for it. Anyway the Australians went back Saturday and I've been enjoying my own bed ever since.

Eating wise i've been a complete greedy guts, mind you I've done a couple of sessions at the gym. I have really struggled this year with my weightand I've freaked myself out a couple of times worrying I was on my way back to fifteen stone.

I have been catching up with all your news.

Take good care my friends.

Michele

Huh? I must have missed something - what happend BritinNJ????

Sarahgrace - I don't believe I have heard of him - but then I rarely listen to the radio now.

MIche - wow - you must be knackered!!!

OOh - a bargain girls! My friend gave me a day cream from Aldi (with Q10 in it) - it was lovely! A light fresh smelling face cream for under £2. Over on the Daily Mail beauty board they have been championing it and the Lidl one too. I might get one as a cheapie Christmas tree gift for my mum.

Morning all...

Peacock, we had the trails of hurricane Noel pass by on Saturday, we did have weather warnings and such and presumed power outages so we were ready, however, we are on a well in this rustic house I live in, and when the power goes out, the well stops pumping wter as it's electirc, so no running water, no flushing of the loos...quite horrible as you can't stop your bladder and bowel operating over 48 hours

But we're back with power now and I am doing a ton of washing, and cleaning all around with nice hot soapy water.

WB Michelle, you've been missed, glad to have you back after your busy month.

Helen.... NY marathon? How did you do, did you have fun?

Ok, washing is finished, time to shove it in the dryer

Peacock- you're unlikely to hear him on the radio unless you're lcuky not in the charts unfortunately, he has his own website with video clips on etc though

Chris- glad we don't have weather like that here (yet anyway)

SarahGrace, you don;'t want this weather we've had, I wouldn't even think about sending it your way, it was a pain in the bum, but at least at home we have brick houses...unlike the one's here made of straw, well, maybe not straw, but wood isn't a fib.

Have been for a nice workout, am feeling great, walked in the rain with Pen and Lew earlier and will try for the later while watching AR on the puter....

Have a good evening all

Cat, congrats on the new job luvey... I k ow how six o'clcok mornings suck I have a few of them myself....I'm always grumbling about them....

Back to work for me today. Have spent the last 2 days on a moving and handling course that showed no resemblance to my job. Got Friday and the weekend off. I haven't got any plans for my time off other than to do some exercise.

Aint that just the way of it Knightbabe - I have often gone on courses that seem totally irrelevant to what I am doing!!!

BrintinNJ - Glad things are back to normal. I remember once we havd a plumbing problem and were not allowed to flush. We just poured loads of water and disinfectant down and that was only for one night but with 5 of us then, well.....

hello all, I've just dragged myself back to the UK. My grandmother has taken a turn for the worse so once I've got some clean clothes and a bit of sleep I'm heading back off again over to see her, I promise I'll tell you all about New York at some point, but for now I'll give you the link to the video the bbc did of us.

Hello everyone

I've had busy day doing stuff around the house, then went to my parents to do some ironing. This evening I got my mother to do a small bit of hoovering she wasn't amused.

Went out last night to a wonderful Tapas place in Sawbridgeworth ate so much I am still stuffed today.

Sorry to year your grandmother isn't doing so good Helen I can imagine how tired you are. When someone in your family is ill it is so draining in every way.

Take care

Michele

Hello all!

I am now 2nd best kickboxer in Britain!

I entered my first tournament yesterday and got through to the finals and placed 2nd overall. I have a humungous trophy that doesn't really fit in the house! I would've preferred a belt, then at least I could've worn it or something!

Hello everyone

Whose a clever girl then Frus.

I am tired, but I've been so healthy today I made a gorgeous salad for work with advocao and all sorts. Had yoghurt and fruit for breakfast. Have just spoilt it by swiping a few oven chips from Conor's plate but it was only a few.
I'm trying to have a bit of a fresh start. I may gym later but not sure yet may leave it until tomorrow.

Had a quiet weekend I got very dull.

Michele
