At the moment I'm not following any plan. That's the problem.

CG - are those gained lbs the same as the ones you lost while you were on the meds? Could it be your body stabilising after that? My weight went up by 4lbs but came back down again after antibiotics, d'you think yours is going the other way round?

I have gained the weight back that I lost when I was on the meds. The weight this week is just from overeating.
I have always done WW. When I stick to it I can lose.

I'm also not journaling doesn't help I know.

CG.... get the journal out and start afresh from now... you know we can do it, I think you need to come and live with me, or me with you... at least you have a Target and Kohls near, so I should come and live with you and we'll be thin in no time, cos we always work great together

CG and Chris - Sometimes it helps to have a diet buddy that you swap daily food/exercise diary emails with - not sure why, s'pose because it makes you think twice before you put the fork in your mouth. Why don't you two swap daily food diary emails - or either (or both) of you can swap with me cos I need the motivation as well?????

I lost 0.5lb which given what I did to myself last weekend (and yesterday ) is somewhat of a pleasant surprise. Not enough to change my ticker though.

Sarah, I can't say anything motivating I'm afraid as I seem to have totally lost my oomph. I'm off to Italy on Sunday for a week and as I've no intention of being on plan that week I'm finding it hard to keep to it this week.

i think its water ... hoping for better next week.... been around this weight for ages.. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Sarah... i think (um.. im a kids nurse so maybe do some reading!) the hormones will still go up n down even if you dont have "bits".... so you will have the extra water wt etc... might be woth taking a look at your weights and see if it makes sence that it could be .. or its just random!.....

I've got no idea!

Am dying of sore throat , snotty nose and stuffed up head.

Batteries in scales have beaten me to it - they are dead!

Don't think for a moment I have lost an ounce!

Next week....

1 pound on this week, but it's better than I expected really considering. Next week I'm ready to have a great week, so expect a loss next time

Well, I've been doing a Valentine's Day challenge which I met early so my next target is to reach my final goal of 133 (9.5 stone) by Easter. So can I jump on this challenge?

I put on 11 lbs over Christmas (blushes) so I've just got back to below what I was before Christmas, so the 11.5 lb I lost in January was fairly easy!

Don't know how easy it will be to lose this last 12! In theory it's only 1.25 a week but we all know how these things work don't we? I had months last year when I only lost 2 lbs! So I'll say 13 lbs for Easter and see how things go. It may be revised.

So long as it's gone by the time I go on holiday in July I'll be happy, but Easter would be nice.

Thanks for that, Lou. It does make a bit of sense... I shall keep a diary and see if its cyclical. Thinking about it I do actually get other TOM symptoms but I hadn't really tied it all together because I was under the impression that once you didn't have ovaries any more then you wouldn't get any hormonal fluctuations.
