Hi. I'm new today and am really grateful for the welcome. I'm glad there's a challenge going cos motivation is something I often lack (one of the reasons I joined).

11st 3lbs last Wednesday (Weds are my weigh day)
10st 5lbs for the challenge. Trying to be realistic cos have got a holiday between now and then.

Good luck everyone

FTT... hope your feeling better... get some vitamins in ya girl... i was a bit worried a while agothat you werent eating an balanced diet.... and starving yourself during the day.. just filling up on water... you can get water toxic if u drink too much !!.. cant win ehy ! lol

im doing ok... eating gd.. been spinning 3 times.. so heres to next week... which mightbe more of a challenge with midweek interview..

was funny in one class th intructor was shouting out "chocolate, alcohol, mince pies, other naughty things you shouldn eat"... as it was a tough bit of the class... we did that in the summer when we were going up evil hills in cornwall on our bikes.. but its went something like... " pastys, cheese, fish n chips, bread" recited x to top of hill lol.... keeps u going!...

lol. frus.. if only that were poss.. maybe your onto something there.. lol.. share the "load"... tis goin to be a busy one this yr... got things planned for most months already!.. eeek..

I haven't been able to exercise since before Christmas because of my neck. I'm a bit worried I won't be able to lose.

hi everyone, I'm up for the easter challenge too. I've got loads of weight to lose and the easter challenge seems a good place to start! I've been tracking my food intake last week, and will start running and swimming this week.

Thanks for the lovely welcome Sarah!

Shmoo - I do exactly the same thing - eat when I'm fed-up (or happy, angry, excited - any time really!) - definitely an emotional eater. Hope you are settled in now and feeling a bit better.

Well done to everyone who has lost so far! I was doing well up until this weekend - for some reason everything went to pot and I ate a whole load of rubbish. Was really annoyed with myself earlier - but have decided that tomorrow is a new day!

Welcome doughnut!

Default i`m new - hello

hi, i have just found this site and i would really love to join your easter challenge, help keep me motivated as i have a lot to lose. i am 5 ft 1 inch and i started off at 222 lbs. i now weigh about 217,most of which i fear is water loss, but is an encouraging start. i would eventually like to lose around 100 lbs, but for this challenge i am aiming for around 20 lbs. this, my gp says will give me some good health benefits and get me under the 200lb mark. cheers.
ps: how do i get a ticker?

Hi Madaboutbooks and Doughnut - welcome to the Easter Chicks Challenge.

Madaboutbooks - to get a ticker you need to
- click on the User CP link at the top of this screen on the left hand side
- then click on edit signature at the top of the list on the left hand side (under Control Panel / Settings & Options)
- then you'll see the a ticker with a sentance with links in it underneath - just click on the words 'Click here'

Hope that works - I'm rubbish at explaining things like that!

lou, thanks but i wasnt every starving myself....just the way my body works, less food in the day time, mor in morning and evening.
but anyway im feeling a bit more human today, spent most the day fighting a fever in college, which is annoying because i cant shift it. I also think my boyfriend has caught it, although hes alread had it...must be a strong bug to get him again. Which is bad because hes a shop manager, and has to run shops all day and cant take time off work.
but i lost 1 lb yesterday due to cold, but i havent been eating healthily so im sure it will go back on.
im gonna try and cut down cals back to about 1500 for a few days, so i can get back on my feet, but after that ill b bak down to 1300 in the week. and hopefully i can get back into the swing of this diet.
thanks for the support

I weighed myself this morning and am up a pound from last week. Oh well, I didn't eat great last week and only went to the gym once so....

This week will be better, I did gym this morning and have eaten well today.

I still can't bring myself to change my ticker though .

Down 2.5lbs since the start! I'm eating plenty of fruitses and veg-es and I'm working out at the gym lots, adding cardio where there was no cardio before, lifting heavier than the week before and drinking plenty of water and no Pepsi Max

I'm off to polish my halo

I'm down 3lb from yesterday I knew it was water.

So my official start weight for this challenge will be 155, with a goal of 149. I'm being pretty angelic so far this week, so hopefully I'll at least get back to 152/153 before too long, even if I can't get lower than that. I've never really tried properly though, so you never know what might happen if I keep this clean eating up.
