well, i had my WI this morning and I was down 2lbs since my start date!

Christian- glad to hear cleaning the house is as much of a workout for you as it is for me! That's the one workout that I haven't been able to rationalize away!

mompen- i started doing pilates again after a looong "break" and dang! it's tough! my husband heard me grunting and sighing melodramatically from the other room and thought something was wrong! I like it though because i really do start to feel results quickly, much more than like abs of steel etc.

I'm in 1/2 lb a week isn't bad. I sort of set a goal time limit for myself but this would be great. I have been exercising 6 days a week I would like to go for 7 days. With the 7th not being so much as the rest of the days.
6 days of the week, I do 3 mile walk and Tae Bo
7th day, hoping to just do Tae bo or just an Ab workout (15 minutes)
My husband tells me I shouldn't push too much and give myself at least one day to rest.

LaDean, Congrats on the loss!

Rakkoon~ wow--I really admire all the exercise goals you have. I think if you're body can handle it, go for it, and then if you feel like you're getting burned out, you can always ease off. Or you can also consider a "relaxing" workout, like some yoga or pilates. I'm not very good at yoga (yet) but it sure makes me loosey-goosey afterward!

I'm off on holiday all next week, so I went ahead and weighed myself early (couldn't stand it!) and I'm down another 3 pounds--surprising, considering my workouts were blech this week. We'll see how I am when I get back on the 15th!

Hello all! Just checking in! How's everyone doing on their goals?

I had a WI in this morning and had no change. I expected it b/c of vacation last week, but I'm really hoping for another 1-2 pounds next week. I've been doing really well on eating lately and haven't even had a lot of cravings lately, so I feel really good about myself. I'm going to work harder on exercise though b/c I let myself get a little lazy before vacation .

Good luck to us! Only 3 weeks (less than!) for the Challenge!
