I know it is still Friday but I wanted to go ahead and start this before tomorrow. I will be in and out tomorrow doing 1,000,000 things so I might not have time to log on and if I do, It will be for just a second. I hope everyone is having a great week! Let's pull ourselves together.


Do ya'll want to try a secret pal thing through the mail?? Or do you think It might not work! Give me your opinion Penny

Penny Thanks for wanting to help.You are helping.You,Sherri,Christie,Summer,Marie,Allanah,D onna and all the rest help me all the time without realizing how much.
I don't know how secret a mail pal would be.If anyone keeps track of where people are from {like me]it would be easy to see who was writing. But writing,sending cards is great when it is no secret. The e-mail secret pal works because you really don't know who it is from.You can sorta guess as we know those that are more likely to take time to send them.
Did better with my eating yesterday.Had planned to spend evening playing a board game with hubby.He fell asleep on couch so that took care of game.But that was alright.He was tired and when he woke from his nap I was really for bed.We will spend the day together tomorrow.
Time to get ready for work.I am ready for a day off.

Oh Nita-Thanks for putting your bio on board.I know what you mean about the yoyo'ing but still doing better by being in TOPS.I also have a spoled black&white cat.He thinks he is human sometimes.See you next weekend

I would enjoy doing a secret pal through the mail. I think it would work.

I got up this morning and walked my mile. I just want to like to exercise. I dont, but I do it. I would love to experience the endorphins that everyone talks about. I am writing down everything I put in my mouth this week and hopefully it will kick in with a good loss. I want to stay motivated with this as I seem to fade out during the summer. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Suzanne --if you ever get where you really like exercise good for you.Because most of us do not "like it "We just do it.I personally hate it with a passion and have to force myself.
We already have a secret pal list.You can go to any card site but instead of putting your name and email address,you put from secret TOPS Pal and for e-mail address you put [email protected]. Then the person does not know who sent it.I do not want to post e-mail addresses of other people but if you will e-mail me I will send you the list.You can also check the bio's .Ones that don't care list their e-mail address

Sounds like we are all off to a great start for the week. We are all going to do great with this challange I just know it.

Penny,

I hope you didn't eat too much at the parties today and still had fun. I know you will get back on the wagon tomorrow and eat low for the week so you can have a loss this week as well.

That is great that you got a mile in for your exercise. I also got in my exercise today. I am back to exercising this week now that I can breathe again. I did 30 min. of aerobics this morning first thing. I just do it myself. I can easily not do it but I a can't honestly say that I hate it but I don't love it either. I guess I can take it or leave it. Don't forget to drink your water everyday also. You should be having at least 64 oz of water a day if you can get it down. Some people can't drink that much in a day but they drink what they can.

Sounds like you are getting back on track also. Are you taking time for you? Remember that is very important if we are going to make it through all this. You have to be happy inside and out in order to lose the weight you want. Sounds like things are starting to slow down for you for a change. That is great that you get quality time with your hubby. Wish I could say the same thing. We are going in two different directions then we have a 2 year old that he won't leave home so we can go on a date. He says we don't need a date. I say we do.LOL

I agree with the others. Most of us don't want to exercise. We do it because it gives the metabolism a boost and is good for our health. It helps to have someone to walk with. I meet a Tops pal and we walk 2 miles 5 times a week. Having someone to talk to helps the walk go by faster and you go and do it because you don't want to let her down.
