Penny... How are you doing today? Are you still enjoying SBD?
I'm doing better this week. Last week, I was really craving those carbs, but I guess that it was withdrawal because I am feeling great now and think that I can stay on it. This week I added oatmeal (the old fashioned type) for breakfast and low fat milk. I have also added 2 servings of fruit each day.
Sherri..DH is still on the diet, but he protests a lot. It would be a lot better if he didn't make plans to go out and buy things that aren't on the diet, like dinner rolls, when he knows that we aren't supposed to have them. He will only eat a few vegetables and it is hard to come up with different ones that he likes. Sometimes I think that he just likes to complain. I asked him to stay on the plan until he loses about 30 lbs. His doctors and nurse/practioner has been on him for a long time to lose weigh and exercise. When he is on this diet, his diabetes is under control. That should be enough to keep him on it.
Well, I need to get going. I have to go shopping and get those vegetables for dinner tonight. I think I will make a big pot of green beans, if I can find some at a good price.
