I am so happy today I am down yet another lb. That makes a total of 7 lbs lost this week that I gained last week. I am doing great and I am looking forward to another great day on plan.

Things are awfully quiet here at work today, but my mood is better today than yesterday. I'm having a salad for lunch today. Time to rid my body of all the bad-for-me stuff I ate this week. I'm also going to follow Eleni's lead and try very hard not to snack after dinner.
It's one of my very bad personal habits to break ... I'm not hungry at that time, so why eat?????

Hi Ladies, very dreary here today, but I feel sunny on the inside. I had a loss last night.....only 3/4#.......but I'm in the black!!!!! My hands are going to be kept busy today. DD messed up the bra on her car [saved the car body though] and it was over $100 so I'm dragging out the nylon thread and going to try to sew it up. Plan on drinking a lot of water while I do that.

Eleni, sorry I missed your call yesterday. I was at an ex-TOPS members house for a bit of 'catching up'. She is a real nice gal and was co weight recorder with me. Haven't seen her in 4 yrs and we had a nice visit. We want to do it sooner next time. Good for you on still feeling great and doing well. I know you feel like you finally are focused and strong. Wonderful!!!!!

Christie, have a good weigh in tonight. Is there a difference between the 2 scales?

Geri, Never got to officially welcome you to the board. We have wonderful members here and I get more 'pick-me-ups' here than at chapter. Sorry about the work scenerio, but the time off couldn't come at a better time.....and maybe a better job is around the corner. Change is tough and losing good working partners is a real bummer. Nita, I like the Book Club section here, but have you gone to Dr. Phils site? I plan on checking that out and someone I think on the book thread said that for those that don't have the book, his site is good.....so that's why I'm going to go there too. Can't hurt! You sound so 'up' and I'm thrilled for you. Your losses show your frame of mind.!!!!!

Hi Everyone,

Summer.......Congratulations on the loss last night. It's a new month and we can all do good this month. Did you read the discussion some of the gals are having on the book club thread? They are discussing Dr. Phils show and the 13 people that are on it. Very interesting. As Dipthong says, " Its better than a soap opera". Loved it! I went to his web site, but didn't sign in. I get so much junk mail that I hesitate to put my name and e-mail address in to anything else. But I will probably do it just to see what is going on.

I don't have time to mention you all by name, but I hope you are all having a good day. And it sounds like everyone is doing great.

Are you focused again girl. I know it takes awhile to get back on track. The sooner the better. The salad was a great choice. That is great that you are trying to break the habit of eating at night. I found that I eat at night because I am tired and bored. You should try going to bed earlier. You would get more sleep and it would save you a lot of calories.LOL It can also help break that habit faster. I think your frame of mind it great keep it up.

Congrats on the loss girl. I am so proud of you. You are back on the right track. Just keep it up. I am glad you got the chance to go visit with your friend. I know how hard it is to get time away. She is right you need to do it more often. Glad you had a great time. Keep up the great work girl you will have another loss next week.
What book thread are you reading? I would like to read some of it myself.

What can I say I am so happy for you. I know you are beaming tonight and you should be. You have been working very hard all week and you are changing your habits for the better a little at a time. It is working. Keep it up. That was a great motivator for you. You are doing awesome. Don't give up now keep going.

As for me I messed up today. I had too much rice tonight and a cookie. But I got on the bike tonight and rode 2 miles so hopefully that will help me. I have to do better tomorrow. I am off to a great start and I don't want to go backwards that is for sure. I have a long way to go and I will make it with your help and my work.

Sherri, the Book Club is the 4th forum under the 'General' classification where all the forums are listed. Some good reading there of what 3FC members have to say. There is a tread on there entitled: Discussion 2 - Dr. Phils Right Thinking. You'll have a better tomorrow.
