Default Good morning!


How are you all? I haven't been on in a while. Have been busy, plus computer problems.

Hope you are all doing well. Let's start the month of May off and keep the ball rolling.

I am aiming for reaching my goal this month. I have a family reunion at the end of the month and want to lose these last 6 pounds by then.

Christie, how are you doing? Are you still around? Hope you are well.

Eleni, are you doing okay?

I am not going to take time to write you all, I would surely forget a name... but know that just because I am not around doesn't mean that I'm not thinking about you. We each hold within us the power to be successful. Let's make it happen!!!

I also have not been around as much. just a lot going on right now. But I think of you all daily and check to see how you are all doing.

Default Good morning ladies

Wanda good to hear from you.Today is SRD day. Leaving to take ds to school, then go work out and then leave. We are going fairly early this year. We are hoping to get some of the good stuff in. I also have to do the announcing tomorrow of the past leaders, so could you all say a little prayer for me between 7:30 and 10:00. I would greatly appreciate it. I was up last night doing some finishing touches on stuff. Still don't have all of my charms on my collar yet. They will get there. NO biggy. Well it's almost time. Love ya guys and thinking of you.

Mickey...Just 6 lbs to goal. That's great! You can do it!! And we'll all be here to Cheer you on.

Welcome to gottaloseit. Come and post as often as you like. We all enjoy hearing from each other.

Summer.....How was your workshop last weekend? Did many people attend with it snowing? DH and I always look up when we walk under the snake tree now.

Eleni...I've missed you lately, but I know how it is when you have a lot going on.

Coco...Hope you are doing well. I think that we both lost the same amount of weight this week.

I was a little disappointed that I didn't lose more than .75 lbs. I really worked at it this week. I think I must be at a plateau, I keep trying, but the small losses doesn't seem worth the effort. I know I shouldn't complain, a loss is a loss, and I did stay in the black for the 13 straight weeks. So please forgive me for venting.

Hope everyone else is doing well. This cheer is to help us thru next week.

Hi everyone.

I'm also wishing Mickey success in getting those last few pounds off. Have you been there before, Wanda?

We are also having our Alberta PRD (Provincial Recognition Days) this weekend. It is being held at the University here in Calgary, which is why it is so late. The University students are now gone, so they can use the dorms for people coming in from out of town. I think we should have about 1,800 in attendance.

I am not going to enjoy tonight very much as my left knee is swollen and sore to walk on. Tomorrow should be better, but then my right knee is due to swell one of these days (hopefully it will wait until Sunday). I heard somewhere there is going to be a dance tonight. Guess who will be watching instead of participating....

Oh well, it will be good anyway. Some of our chapter is going for the first time. We are 8 going tonight and 9 tomorrow.

Hi All,

I haven't been around much but think of all of you. I still have to try and get my motivation back. I was really close to quitting TOPS but I am still sticking with it.


LIZ: I will be at PRD this weekend too. I think there is a dance but I don't think I will be staying for it. I don't know a lot of people that will be there but....you never know...I might stay longer than I think. I have never been to one before so....it will be a new experience. There are only 5 from my chapter going but....we have a very small chapter. Have fun and hope your knee isn't too bad.

Mickey: Great work. You will be at goal before you know it.

Default FRIDAY

Hi Ladies
I hope everyone is doing well. The day has been so-so. Had to do some running this morn. Dont think I have to go anywhere tomorrow. Unless I take son to look for new glasses. Son had his eyes checked late yesterday afternoon. And by the time we got out of there most of the places that sells frames were closed. So may try and take him to Wal Mart tomorrow. If not will pick him up from school on Monday.
I dont know if I mentioned this or not. But on Tues eve our leader gave us all a journal. Here is how she said we could use it.

1 Write down our thoughts and feelings
2 Use it as a food journal
3 Use it as a food and thought journal
4 Or if you eat something that you really shouldnt. Write how you felt after you ate it.

Well I havent started writing in mine yet. But I will. But I think I may use mine for my thoughts. And then have one for food. I just will have to hide it from hubby. Dont want him to read it. But he got one also. So I am thinking of starting it on Monday.

FLGAL I am like you I wish I had lost more. But will take that. But at least we lost. And we didnt gain. Am thinking of you.

MICKEY You will have those 6lbs off before you know it. You go girl.

SHORTSTACK I am thinking of you. You will do a wonderful job.

SHERRI I am thinking of you. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To everyone else. I am thinking of you. Hoping that you are making good choices. Hope everyone stays OP this weekend. Will check in later.
