Default TOPS computer program

at TOPS.org I saw a computer program cd to help track your food and exercise and I was wondering if anyone has it. I was wondering if it is really worth the money.

if you have it please let me know how you like it.

Hi Bev.

I went to sleep watching a movie earlier, then when I woke up and went to bed, I couldn't go back to sleep. So I got up and thought if I got on the computer that I might get sleepy again.
I looked up the program that you asked about. I didn't know that TOPS had one, but it sounds like a good program.
I bought a program similar to that last December called "Balance Log", and have been using it since then and it has helped me to lose 12 lbs. and is a good way to keep a daily journal. The program that I have is by HealtheTech (you can look it up under that name on the internet). It sounds like the one that TOPS has does about the same thing. It has lots and lots of food already on the disc and you can add more if a food can't be found on it. You put in your profile first. You record all the food you eat and all your exercise. It keeps an account of everything that is on the food labels so you know if you are getting too much fat or sodium or not enough vitamin A and C or calcium, fiber and etc. You also record you weight on it each week. It keeps a tally of your calories when you log in a meal and lets you know how many more calories that you can have for that day.
I bought the program for both the home computer and the palm pilot so I can keep a record when I'm away from home.
I really like the program and it has helped me to stay on track.
I would recommend it for anyone that is serious about losing their weight and the one that TOPS has sounds like it does everything that mine does and is cheaper, too.

Hi, I just ordered it yesterday. I am so excited to get it. I hope it logs my weight each week because the only way I do that is to go to weight watchers on line, and that is the only thing I do on that site. I follow the exchange program and did not succeed at their points. If I can record my weight on the computer and print it out, it will actually save me money. The reason why I got the program is for the exchange lists. I need more of a variety and it is my understanding that the program has it. I will let you know. Joy
