This is one for at home
As I begin this day at home and off work I will keep in mind the goal I seek. Being at home or out and about brings different temptations that I need to be aware of and have a means to resist.
I will try to control my over-eating so that I can lose all this extra weight that is making my life so miserable.
I will eat less and move more and become healthier.
I will find a way to do some kind of exercise everyday at home. Even if it is only a few minutes.
It is often a big temptation to eat more when not at work.
Whenever I have the desire to eat constantly while around the house I will remind myself of what the overeating has done. I will stop and think before eating and try to stay busy doing something to keep my mind off food.
I will also try to not eat when I first get home from work. If I am really hungry I will eat just a little something. I will tell myself that it will soon be supper time and I will be able to eat then
I will concentrate on only eating when hungry and stop when I am full. Whenever I go to eat when I know I am not really hungry I will find a way to resist.
When I eat my supper at home I will try to refrain from taking second helpings. I will also try to not eat after 7 o’clock. I will keep Popsicles handy for a snack if I just have to have something
When we go out to eat I will work to not over eat. I will use what ever I can do to not over eat and stop when I am full. I will also try to leave some food on plate to help me get use to not finishing a plate just because it still has food on it. And because most restaurant helpings are way more than I need to eat.
I will eat slower and I will consciously make an effort to take smaller bites.I will also chew my food longer.
Whenever I do eat fast I will remind myself to slow down. I will remind myself I am not in a race and I will not starve if I eat slower
Even if I have to completely stop eating for a few seconds.
I will not beat myself up if I have a bad day.That only makes things worse.
The main thing is to take control of my eating and be aware of what and how much I am eating. And also why I am eating .I will stop myself from stress eating and random boredom eating when not hungry
I can do this. I have the ability to do this. I am only one that will keep me from succeeding.
My life depends on this.I can and will do this one meal at a time.One day at a time.
It is all up to me. And I will do it and not give up and start binge eating. This is something that many other people have done. And this is something that I can do as long as I stay focused. And I will be ever mindful that it will be so wonderful once I lose this weight. Each few pounds will get me closer to my goal . To weigh less and feel better and be able to enjoy life to its fullest.
No one can do this for me. I have to do it for myself. And there is no reason why I can’t succeed. I will do this and be thin and healthy once again
