Default good morning ladies

not much happing at our home front except everyting.
Sherri so sorry you had a gain. you will pull through.
Brandon starts preschool/daycare monday. I have so much to do, and our schedule is going to be messed up cuz hubby is off fishing for a week. both emotions at the same time. Brandon won't be in mil class, her class will join him for a few things. I also have to pack him a lunch. Haven't had to do that in 4 years. I've changed my curves place, and until that happens i have a pass. Tues dentist, have to drop brandon off by 4 am. mil is taking him. i'm opting not to drop him off on monday, cuz i have to save time for future days. halloween, thanksgiving, christmas. i'm stressing a bit here, but will be fine.
i'm lurking, hi, can't type much. love ya all me.

Good morning all. Things are beginning to get back to normal. Or as close to normal as we ever get. i have already gotten my laps done and will do the rest of my exercises in a few minutes. Hubby is working all weekend so I plan on working around the house and just chillin. My daughter is better. She was on edge of breakdown. But we got her help and she is much better. The older they get ,the bigger the problems. Enjoy your little ones because trust me their problems are much easier to solve.
I did finally have a 1# loss. I hate to think how much I would have gained if I had not exercised each day. I have several exercise plans in place now for different days and depending on how much time I have or how I feel. I also made myself a monthly exercise chart to keep track of what and how I am doing. I just need to do better on how much I eat. I do a food chart everyday and I can see why I have gained. When we write it down we know what we have eaten. As we all know,we often think we have eatten less than what we really have.
The piano lessons have been going good. Due to stressful week I have not practiced like I should. But I plan to get an hour in each day this weekend. Sometimes we can only do so much.
I can tell I am not the only one having problems just by looking at post. But we just have to do the best we can and usually things turn out ok.
I think of you all often.
Our chapter has had a lot of ex members return. It is good to see them. Sometimes people think they can do it without TOPS but they aways come back.
Enough from me. Hope you all have a good weekend.
Love Ya

PS I use Richard Simmons sitting tape everyday. It has really been so helpful. I have also discovered that a lot of toning exercises can be done sitting. Experiment with your tapes and you may find you have more to work with that you thought

Default Saturday

Hi Everyone
Just thought I would check in. Hubby is taking a nap. So I thought I would be quite for him for a few. Not much going on here. Son is helping my Dad today. We are going to have a cook-out at Mom and Dad's farm tomorrow. Will probably be about the last of the season. So Son is helping getting things ready for that. Cooked some chicken. Am going to fix it with some rice for supper tonight. Got to clean my veggies yet. Gonna make a salad for tomorrow. And I put some chicken in honey mustard sauce. Will fix that on the fire tomorrow. Stopped raining. We got 2 inches. But no flooding. Just cloudy and a little cool. But not bad. Eating is so-so. I am like you Eleni. I need to write everything down. I do so much better. I know that it helps. But I guess I just dont take the time to do it. But I am going to have to start again. Maybe if I sit my journal at my place at the table that will help. It did before. Because I would have to move it to eat. And then its like oh yeah I have to write down what I ate or am eating. I also need to get back to the excerise. That helps. But I just havent done it. So maybe I can try and make that a goal for myself next week. To try and do some kind of exercise everyday next week. Well I better stop boring you ladies. Just wanted to say HI to everyone. And am thinking of you. Take care. Have a great weekend.
A TOPS PAL

Hi Everyone,

I did have a gain yesterday, but not as much as I expected. I'm finally getting motivated again. Our fall rally was today, and it was GREAT! I earned a pinette for perfect attendance during the summer, another for having a helping hand pen pal and we both lost weight since the workshop last spring, and a pinette for being voted 1 st mate in the chapter. The chapter also received an award for having the most new KOPS between June 1 st. and Aug. 31. We had 1 new KOPS, 2 other chapters each had 1 re-instated KOPS and won an award too. I couldn't believe that we won for only 1 new KOP.
The King and Queen of the state were there and gave speeches, also the queen in 2000. It was very inspiring. If we were around people like that more often, we would be pounds thinner. The queen agreed to visit our chapter and speak. I was thinking that she would be a good speaker for open house in January.

Well, I tired tonight, so I'm going to get off here.

Hi everyone,
Today we are having cake at my house for my Birthday. And since I didn't want to blow it, I came up with my own. I will let you know how it worked.

I took a Pillsbury lemon cake mix. Lowest one with fat on the market. 3 grams per serving. 12 servings in a mix.

added the one cup of water, 1/3 cup of applesauce and 3 egg whites. Then added a large bag of almost defrosted blueberry's.
I put it in a bunt pan so I can divide it better. Will let you know how it turns out. I am going to also sprinkle a little bit of powdered sugar over the top.

Thanks Nita,
By the way, the cake is wonderful. With a little fat free cool whip, I feel like I had a real treat.

Hi all,
Thanks for the Birthday greetings. By the way, the blueberry cake was a hit. I have pies left over from bakers square, but no bluberry cake. I am going to make another tomorrow, and take it to my tops meetings. I want people to see that eating low fat can be yummy!!

I will check back in tomorrow when I weigh in. My kids gave me a pedometer? Not sure how you spell it. YOu hook it on your pants and it tells you how much you walked for the day. I put it on first thing in the morning and when I got home from work, I had already walked three miles!! Then I went for my normal walk and added another mile. So I walked over 4 miles today. That was to interesting to me!!

Catch you tomorrow
Nancy
