Default Dreary Thursday!

Hi all,

How is everyone out there today? I am doing great. My scale is down 2 1/2 lbs. I am hoping to have at least a turtle tonight. I worked out twice yesterday at curves and stayed on plan with my points. I knew it would work. It always does. I just have to keep up with the good eating habits.

I am going on a walking fieldtrip of a town today with megan's preschool class. We are visiting the bank, laundrymat, book store, post office and a health food place for a snack. It should be fun if the rain holds off. Then it is off to work for me this afternoon cleaning. I changed my schedule so I could go this morning. She was glad about that.

Just thought I would start the thread this morning. I am trying to make time for this place because I really need it. I really miss you guys when I am not here and it is so easy to go astray when I am not here. I am making plenty of time for all the exercise now I have to make time for here. I am trying to get here at least once a day.

I hope everyone is having a good day. Good luck to those that weigh in tonight. To those losers this week. Congratulations to you. We can do this and we will.

HAPPY THURSDAY EVERYONE!!!!!!!!

Well, it is gonna be very sunny today......and we continue to desperately need rain. Good day to be outdoors. Hanging lots of laundry out is in my plans and hopefully getting the lawn mowed.

I had a good weigh-in last night. Lost 1# so I'm in leeway but still 2 over goal. Gonna keep striving to get back under goal. It is sooooooo dangerous playing with that 3# leeway!!!!

Leaving tomorrow morning for the 'mini' state recognition get together. Plan on doing some shopping and staying with a TOPS lady that lives in the Springs.

Sherri, glad your scale is showing a loss. Now, don't blow it today before weigh-in. Yes, I agree about coming here.....it does help keep us on track when we have to be accountable for what we do. Good going on the better eating yesterday.

Well, everyone, time to get the ole washing machine cranked up. Have a great day and will check later.

Default HI and Will try this again!!

Hi Ladies
I will try this again. I was posting. Had it about all done. And hit a wrong key and lost everything. Now will have to start all over. I was just checking in. I hope everyone is doing ok. Sounds as if we have some "loser" on this board. That is great. I didnt get to weigh in on Tues. Son had a FFA banquet. Went to that. We walked this morn. Went 2 miles. Is kinda muggy here today. I dont like it when it is humid. Keep saying we have a chance of rain. But so far we havent had any. Keeps clouding up then the sun comes out. Have a load of jeans in the wash. I think I will hang them out when they get done. I like to wash clothes and hang them out. Especially the bed clothes. I think the sheets smell so good when you hang them out. Had a couple of racoons in a tree by our dog pen this morn. Called a guy. He comes and removes them. But the one coon got away before he got here. The other one was still in the tree. The guy said the coon weighed about 20 lbs. Said that was a pretty good size coon. Was leary about rabies. Said there have been a few cases around. But the guy said he didnt think this one had them. He dont kill them. He just takes them someplace else and releases them.
Well my eating is so-so. Am trying though. All you ladies seem to be doing really well. That is great. Everyone seems to be doing exercise and making healthy choices. That is wonderful. Well you ladies take care. I am thinking of each and everyone of you. Hope you have a good day.

I did not do good at weigh in but I was expecting a gain. It could have been worse. I will do better next week. Just stopping by to say hello.

Hey coco,

Sounds like you are doing a lot better. Good for you for getting back to the walking. That is something to have 2 raccoons in your yard. Glad they got one. Maybe they will be able to get the other at another time for you.
Did you have fun at the FFA banquet? My brother was in FFA when he was in school a long time ago. He really liked it. I like it when they sell the fruit. I always get oranges from them. They are cheaper then in the store and a lot better.
Keep up the great work. You will have a loss this coming week. Keep up the exercise and remember to count your points.

Eleni,

Don't worry. The best thing is that everyday gives you a fresh start. So take advantage of it and start fresh tomorrow. You are doing great. Don't let one week get you down. You know you ate out a lot. That might have been some of it. Or it could have been salty food and it can be water weight. Either way. Stick to what you are doing because it is working. Don't give up. I am here behind you rooting you along.

I hope you have a great time on the mini recognition. It will be like a mini vacation for you. Congratulations on the loss. You can get down below goal. You have done it before. With a lot of hard work and determination you WILL do it again. Keep up the exercise and watch the carbs. I am watching my carb intake also.

I did not blow it today. I had a great weigh in. I lost 2 1/4 lbs tonight. I was so happy. I was just hoping for a turtle also. I really thought I was going to have a gain and I didn't. I didn't even want to go to the meeting because I was so bummed about it. I decided to go weigh in and not stay for the meeting. So that is what I did. I brought megan with me so I couldn't stay even if I wanted to.LOL But I weighed in. Came home made goulash with the whole wheat elbow macaroni and then went to work out at curves. I will be going back again in the morning. I will workout here at home this weekend. I will really need to work out twice a day this weekend. Saturday is megan's huge birthday party so we are trying to get ready for that. There will be a lot of food. So that isn't a good thing. But I will have a loss again this week. I won't lose the traveling gift. I really think that working out twice in a day for 2 days a week is helping me to get rid of the body fat and bring the scale down. We will see. Starting monday I will be back at it again.
