Thanks Christie, I have had a hard time getting my vegetables in every day, as I don't really like them much. I can't eat raw vegetables, and the cooked ones seem so plain. Does anyone have any simple receipes for cooked vegetables that will dress them up a little wihtout adding calories? I like blueberries, but only with heavy cream and sugar, so they are not an option. Now the strawberries, ymmmmm. I think some are on sale at the local market this week, so will treat myself. Do any of you have the same mind set as I do, or did, until just recently. That is, it is too expensive, so I just will do without. Well, a few weeks ago, I decided that I will buy that occasional lamb chop or off season fruit because I need some encouragement to stay op and I do get so tired of the same food all the time. I also determined to try a new fruit or vegetable each week. I had my first mango and was very surprised that I really enjoyed it. Last week I bought Raspberry flavored pickled beets. That was a failure. Well I decided to try something new each week, didn't say I had to like it! Hope you all have a great and op day. Mary ann
