Talking Monday Morning

Well this morning was a little brighter than yesterday. I managed to get in .71 miles in this morning, in 15.21 minutes. My scale was also showing somewhat of a loss. We will see tonight. I am determined to succeed. I might not get everything done that I want, or I may get a little tired from time to time, but I will do it. Weigh in for me tonight, also. I have noticed, when I put my all into it, I seem more motivated. The only down fall to this is I don't get everything else done that I want. But I will figure this thing out. This is about life changes, not a diet. I want to try new recipes, and know all the stuff that some of these other women know. I was reading the sb board, and some of those women have that thing down packed. and they eat a lot. i want it all. i want to be able to exercise, and get further, i want to know how to cook good tasting food, i want to learn about new low carb eating, and less sugar. i just want to be healthy. i really don't this is too much for me to ask of myself. i just really think that my problem is i don't know how to get there. so answer me this, if you may, how can some people figure this out? Spend time on it, understand it, and come up with new ideas all the time. this one woman on the net, has her own cook book, how? I'm not down, i just want it all, and I want to know how to get it. all you ladies have a great day, i will be back later. i'm fine, i just want it. lots of hugs, and yes we can do it. love ya all

You are doing it and you don't even realize it girl. The secret is to take one day at a time and make good decisions food wise. You are eating a lot healthier then you were. You are making the changes and you are getting it. Just because they have been doing it for years doesn't mean anything girl. You are understanding it and you know what to do. It is called eat fewer healthier calories and exercise. You are doing the whole package and you are losing every week. What more can you ask for. You have also come up with some great cooking ideas. Remember you did make cookies last week in a new way. So you are learning. There isn't much to learn about losing weight. It is more just sticking with it and having the motivation and keeping yourself motivated. That is the hard part. Everything else is a walk in the park. When you lose your mindset you lose everything you have worked for. It really is mind over matter I believe that whole heartedly.
Keep up the great work and just because you had one bad day doesn't mean you will have a loss. It is what you did all week that counts girl and you did great all week. Look at all the exercise you are getting in and you are making great eating choices also.

That goes for you to girl. You did great by getting back on plan. That is all we can ask of each other is to be here for each other. It is okay to mess up once in awhile as long as you don't do it everyday you will be fine. We put way too much pressure on ourselves to be perfect with everything or we think we blew it. That is not true and I have proven that over and over again. When I eat off plan once a week I can still come in with a loss but I have to get right back on track and be really good for the rest of the week. So we are not robots we are not perfect and we have to give ourselves credit for sticking to the plans we follow even though we may stray from time to time. We all stray occasionally we even fall off the wagon. But you know what it takes a better person to forgive yourself and move on with no guilt and START OVER LIKE eleni said. It really works.

There is nothing we can do about the past it is today that we can control. So take hold ladies today is your day to make the right choices.

Today you can do better to. You can still pull off a loss this week. That is great that you have been exercising also.

I got off plan yesterday also and I knew it ahead of time. I did great on saturday. I went to a baby shower. Brought my own wheat bread and used their bologna, turkey and ham 1 slice each with mustard and had a sandwich. That was all I ate while I was there and I had low points that day only 17 1/2 pts all day. I passed on cake and all the goodies.
Yesterday my husband and I went to a hot dog roast at the bar he goes to in town. It was outside and the weather was perfect. I ate a lot of hot dogs and manhatten clam chowder soup. Also I drank all day. Which I hardly ever do. I did burn off some calories on the dance floor so that was good. But I am back on track today and I did exercise every day since friday so I already have in 3 days worth of exercise but I think I will try for 6 days this week because of all the drinks I had. I know there are a lot of calories in the slo gin fizzes I had. But boy they were good.

Today and the rest of the week I am going to eat very low and keep exercising and hopefully I will have another loss this week as well. I will take any loss each week and be happy with it. That means I am that much closer to goal.

I know you are right, Just take it one day at a time. Man I hate those weighin days. I sweat bullets all night on Sunday and all day on Monday. But I am on plan
I had
orange
2 sices of ww light bread. with turkey for breakfast
with lettuce, lite may, and mustard
lunch
roast beef
with lettuce, and same
snack
orange around 12:30-1:00
dinner is roast beef.
salad. probably baked potato
(got to get rid of them).
I got in over 5 miles in this week. I only have to work up 7 more durning the week to make it to st. Ignace.
But we are trying and that's what counts.
Sherri-question. how many carb grams a day, and how do you count beans. I've read different stuff on it.
(not green, or yellow) more like soup beans.
you all hang in there I believe, we can succeed.,
