Goooooooood Mooooooorning Everybody!!!!!!!
Rise and shine!!!
Hope those of you who had Thanksgiving yesterday enjoyed it to the Max!
Sending out a mega-watt shot of this board's famous {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{vibes}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} to you all.
(Who invented those anyway? I love 'em)
Eleni-Where are you? I miss you!
Mickey-Thank you for your support, I really was upset over the whole thing. I am OK now.
Sherri-Glad you had a great Bday! You deserved it.
Christie-How are you holding up? Is the new job all you hoped for?
Nita-I am with you on the cookie baking/eating. It is going to be very tough to make it through Christmas, I am looking for good alternatives and will post some recipes if they taste test OK.
Summer-C’mon tell the truth, you really were a Cheerleader in High School, you are soooooo upbeat.
To all the newcomers, (I am new too) you have found the most incredible group of supportive people, keep in touch and good luck on your journey.
How about an exercise challenge?
Crunch Week Challenge: do as many controlled upper crunches as you can in 1 min. for a week. I bet you see a big difference by next Friday, and it is only 1 minute of your day.
Instructions:
Crunch Sit-Up
Lie face up on the floor with both knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
Place your hands behind your head.
Contract your abdominals, raising your shoulders up off the floor. Keep your head in line with your spine - do not tuck your chin in to your chest.
Move your shoulders and head up as one unit.
Hold for 1-2 seconds and slowly return to the starting position.
Your lower back should remain in contact with the ground throughout the exercise.
This is not about who can do the most, just about doing it.
I just finished my ab routine, 450 crunches.
When I first started I could maybe get an eighth of the way through it (on a good day)
Now the last sets of 25 I take a little break around 18, but I can do the whole thing, start to finish.
Anybody up to this?
Have a Far Out Friday everyone!
