Why so quiet, everyone?

Good news: my water weight has FINALLY come off. I bought a 2qt jug to tote around with me and have been keeping to drinking it ALL. Overnight, I dropped 1.8lbs. Hooray! I'm almost out of the 140's!!

Brandy, I haven't started school yet. I've decided to start taking online courses like my mama. I have to ask her when I start.

Lydia, YAY! Congrats hun! I would buy one of those jugs down in the canteen but I deliver patient trays all day so I can't carry it around. Usually what I do is go to the cafeteria and get their 32 oz cups after work and refill it for the rest of the day. Hopefully, I will get that secretary job I'm trying for and then I will have a desk and a nice, big VA water jug for that desk.

That's what I do with water Shari. Right now I have a 32 oz cup (that I got from Dodger stadium) adn just fill it up throughout the day. It sure makes 64oz of water seem like nothing!!!

Today has been such an awesome day. I have been so busy at work that time is just flying by!!!! I love it!!! I started Fat Smash today. But I have just been too busy to think about food that I haven't had much problems sticking with it. When I get home...well, that's another story. I just hope I can fight the temptations. What sucks is that I have to cook dinner for my bf and cook dinner for myself, so I know I will be tempted to pick at his food. But I already told him to say NO!!! to me. He's scared that I will be in a bad mood all the time (you all know the crankies come out when you are hungry!!!) because I am not going to be eating my beloved junk food.

brandy--the fat smash book was really easy to read and understand (for me anyway) check out the review on this website.

Basically you go through a detox for 9 days- 4-5 meals per day eating fruits, veggies, brown rice, egg whites, oatmeal, water, beans, etc, etc. no junk food/processed food/soda/bread/pasta etc.... Then slowly you start adding meat, whole wheat bread/pasta, drinks, etc...It seems really easy to follow and once you get through the first 8 weeks..you don't have to deprive yourself of anything....just eat it in moderation. Sounds like a good plan to me!!! (oh yeah...you do ahve to excercise too!!)

Chat with ya later galies!!!

Morning gals-I've been so busy lately that I cant seem to focus to finish anything that isn't absolutely necessary. I hate times like this. I know it will settle down soon, but in the meantime....

Rosario-That diet looks interesting. I'm not sure I could give up meat for 9 days. I'm usually fruit/veggies til dinner and then almost always have some kind of meat. Good luck!!

Shari-Good job on the water! I'm at home most of every day so I just make sure I have a glass nearby and get plenty throughout the day. I also ALWAYS have a bottle in the truck for when I do go out. It helps curb some of the cravings til I get home and can make something healthy to eat.

Wendy-glad you're starting to get better.

Lydia-Congrats on the loss!!!!

Brandy!

Get well soon Wendy and Jen!

Doing great Ro!

Today was weigh in and also the day I rejoined WW meetings. Man, I was happy to be back. I missed meetings SO much. Anyway, I shocked the **** out of myself this morning when I stepped on the scale and it read 241.2! I haven't been 241 since...well I don't know. I can't remember! I was just complaining last week that I don't remember even being under 242 in recent history and BAM! I guess the scale just got tired of my *****in! LMAO! So I went to the WW meeting this afternoon and weighed in at....241.8. Seeing that 241 still shook me. Lord knows how I'm going to react when I get in the 230s, 220s, 210s, ONEderland!, etc! Anywho, I've decided that I'm going to go by my own morning weigh ins simply because that's how I started out on here. Okay, I'm out! Night!

wendy-defintely look into it!!

shari--that's great!!! stick with your plan and you'll see the scale going way under 241. congrats!!!

I cheated a bit last night. I was stressing a bit (i couldn't find some papers that I needed for this morning) and I gave in and had a bag of mini muffins. But the good thing is I overcame my urge to binge. After I ate the muffins, I was gettign ready to stuff my face wiht cinnamon and raisin toast w/butter but I didn't!!! I have been doing soooo goood with eating...there's no way I am goign to throw the last 2 days out the window!!!

Still gotta work on excercise. I am having a hard time with that one!!!!

See ya later!!!

That book is $20.00 here! Bet I can get it cheaper somewhere else though!
I'm on it after Ryans B-day!!!! That's still a month away though Between my B-Day, having my teeth yanked and Ryan's B-day I really can't do a diet/lifestyle change.
How's everyone doing?
