Good Morning...Had a great day and was busy grocery shopping. Got the frig stocked up with lots of fresh veggies and fruit. Took out a couple of my "Cooking Light" cookbooks and will plan menus around a few receipes.
Tiffie...Congrat's on loosing some inches. That's AWESOME!!!! I would say your measurements are correct. Your arms will get bigger at first if you are working out. Also, if you can, subsitute turkey breast for the bologna. Bologna is very high in sodium. I have a Subway Turkey Breast sandwich every Wednesday, loaded with extra tomatoes and veggies with FF Honey Mustard dressing. I follow Weight Watchers and it's only 5 points.
Well girls, I'll be back later to do more personals. I'm taking the FD to do her Christmas shopping. Have a great day.

Hi Ladies...I haven't been here for awhile, just having a very hard time with the holidays right now. I see all of you are doing so good...GREAT JOB!!! I started not feeling very well early last night, and I was up most of the night sick, I guess with a flu bug. When I weighed myself, I have lost four pounds, but I'm not changing my ticker, because I know it's from being sick and isn't my true weight. My hubby is on his way to Kaiser, because he thinks he broke his left middle finger. Tonight we have his department's Christmas dinner to go to so I will be making my homemade chocolate chip cookies and cheese augratin potatoes today. I hope all of you have a wonderful day!

Hi everybody . . . I'm definitely feeling a lot better about things than I was yesterday but sure can't say things are ticking along at 100% levels. Hey it will get better, at least my blood sugar levels are back where they belong although the eating and moving regimens are only mediocre.
Have a great weekend, chickies. Keep on doing the good stuff just as much as you can and you'll keep on moving forward and downward. See you later.

Thanks a ton for the grats! It's really great to have some good support.
I'd have eaten something besides Bologna, but I was at my fiance's house and there was nothing else. I had to scrounge just to find something as "healthy" as bologna!

Hey chickies sorry to have been MIA buy this last weekend was very very busy as I am sure it was for most everyone. I don't have time for personals right now but I did want to pop in and say hi. My scales are bouncing from 216 to 219 and I am having a problem with some water retention right now. I am hoping to chug the water today and see the scales drop tomorrow.
Well better get to work. Check back later.

Hi Linda, Are you a moderator now? I noticed your name is now in green instead of blue. Not much going on this way, just waiting for the holidays to be over. This has been a very difficult time and I want a new year here. Have a great day!

Hi MICHELLE . . . . . . My you are observant. Yes, Suzanne asked if I could help out in the Diabetes thread, and of course, I said I would.
Glad to hear that things are mostly OK with you. I know how you must feel, girl. Rest assured, the first year is the toughest; things will get better.
I get rather lonely at this time of year because all of my family are in different provinces. I could go to Ontario every year, but the weather is just too tricky at this time so I prefer to visit at thankgsgiving (early October, for us).
Anyway, you hang in there and keep in touch and don't forget to keep on moving and shaking.

Here I am!
Yesterday I had an awful food day. Sugar, sugar, sugar. I made caramels, fudge, almond butter toffee and 2 kinds of cookies on the weekend and was so good until yesterday, lol. Most of it's gone to friends and neighbors and today I've committed to clean eating (until dinner out with friends tonight, but no treats!!)
I had a good run on the treadmill too- almost 40 minutes. Could have easily talked myself out of it, but I didn't exercise yesterday and I DON"T want this month to turn into 10 lbs back on! It would be so easy to just stay off program until January, but I'm not gonna! Most of our parties are done and I think I can make good choices for the next couple weeks. If nothing else, I WILL get the exercise in to at least offset some of the partying!
Hope everyone else is having a great day!

Hi EMILY . . . Sounds like a lot of us have been having those little 'meltdowns' during the 'season'. We just have to keep doing our best and getting back on track. Hopefully the old 80/20 rule will get us through. Wow, you really baked up a storm, girl. I'm drooling.
Keep moving and shaking. See you soon.
