Good morning chickies, I am feeling much better today and thank you all so much for your encouragement. The scales are back to ticker weight and I am gonna work really hard to break that number before Monday. I didn't get any trampoline or walking time last night but did about 45 minutes of crunches, leg lifts, and workout with my weights. LOL The Biggest Looser is such inspiration for me and I always want to exercise when I am watching it.
Well it is time to get to work, I will try to get some personals in later today but I along with work I have a bunch of stuff to do for my Military Family Support group, we are getting ready for our anual Christmas Party we give to the Soldiers every year.
Check ya later

Happy Thursday! (only one more day till TGIF, but who's couting?)
Good Morning! I'm chipper today!! I broke my ticker weight by .5, that's right the scale read 211.5!! Yippee! I really wish these tickers would count the .5's cuz I would be sorely tempted to change it. I'm holding back because of my premature change last time, it jinxed me and I ended up flutuating all the way back up to 216. Yikes! I will not tempt it again. Not much else new with me, everything is inline - water/food/exercise. I wish everyday felt this good!
Emily, I really got to go back through the thread and have a closer look at the t-tapp workout link you posted. I meant to do it, but then it slipped my mind. I say this because everytime you say you got your t-tapp done all I can visualize is tap dancing! LOL! Good job with staying so determined!
Robbin, I'm really glad to see you're feeling a lot better today! Great news. Now, forty-five minutes doing crunches, leg lifts and weights! Wow, good for you! Especially to go it on your own, I would need a video. The Biggest Loser is such an inspiration to me too! I think these contestants are great. And I love the fact that there is one from each state and they show progress on each after the commercials. Kinda like getting the whole nation fit at once.
Have a great day ladies!
TTFN!

Hey there gals. Well it has been a very good week and i am praying praying that the scales reflect it in the morning. Why oh why do i rely on the scale for whether i can have a good friday? ...I just dont know. I am RIGHT AT my ticker weight from last week. I had taco bell for lunch...i ate really light but still i worry about the sodium biting me in the morning. I was really on plan today, even did 5 extra minutes on the ellipitical. I was a little low on calories for today but i always do that the day before weigh in...i get so paranoid that i will not add something up right and i will be WAY over and not even know it...so since i am paranoid i air on the side of caution.
Tina-So glad you are having good relations with the scale. Nice to see that patience pay off. Me too...i only hope it holds for a few days. I second that about the tickers needing to count the .5's...i worked hard for my .6 last week and got no satisfaction for it. I know what you mean about some days you are just completely on your game. I have had several days like that this week. Really makes you feel like you have some momentum going.
Robbin-Woohoo, good for you for being back down to ticker weight...man that is a reassuring feeling. Biggest loser is a big motivator for me too. Watching them sweat on those machines makes me say, "hey, i can do that". Its funny really.
Jelynn-Praying your hubby does well through surgery and wishing him a speedy recovery.
Ok, where is everybody. Arent we missing several in the past few days? Jtammy, ryanmi, and bertine come to mind and i know there are others that i missing. Hope all are well and okay.

Good morning once again, hope everyone is doing well. The scales were still the same this morning which in some ways is disappointing but in others its not, at least it did not go up, right!?! I need everyone to send me some willpower. We will be going to the State Fair tonight and I can already taste that FAIR FOOD, funnel cakes and corn dog’s mmmmmmm. I will need lots of willpower to stay away.
Emily – You always sound so pepped up about your exercising, sounds like you have fun doing the t-tapp. Hope your hubby is feeling better.
Tina – I kinda laughed that you like it that there is one contestant from each state, sometimes it seems like Canada and the US are all 1 and I have to remind myself you live in a different country.
Stacy – I hope your weigh in was good this morning, it seems I place too much importance on the scales also and let them affect my moods way too much. You are right that we are missing a few people; wonder if everyone is taking advantage of the cooler weather to get outside. I know I have been. Now that fall is here I am enjoying the outdoors much more than I did in our extremely hot summer.
Well girlies I had better get to work. Check back later.

Morning Gals and TGIF !!
I have the day off today, but still up at my usual time. I have some reading to do for my leadership program, so will concentrate on that this morning and then maybe I will catch a short nap this afternoon
The scale has been neither my friend nor foe this week, but that is okay as I have dear uncle tom visiting !!
Did y'all watch Biggest Loser on Wednesday night ? They sure are putting up some big weight loss numbers !! I saw Bob on Ellen yesterday and he mentioned that this season would be one of the highest in terms of overall weight loss. And I love that they show the contestants who are participating at home, they are all doing so well.
Hope everyone has a great Friday. TTYS

Well i hate to post so quickly after i just posted last night but i have good news i have to share. Fairy fat mother came to visit last night and she took 2 pounds with her. So i am excited on a couple of levels. This allows me to move my ticker, for one. And now i am out of the 260's FINALLY, AND i get to add a dragonfly for another 5 lost. That puts me at 26 total so far. I still have a long way to go but 26 pounds is 1/4 of the way to 100, so that sounds good.
Robbin-Oooohh the state fair...double yum. Too many goodies to count and funnel cake is at the top of the list...as is corn dog...carmel apples...OH stop stacy stop. Wishing you will power my dear. Oh the outdoors are lovely down here in TN too. I have my ellipitical in the garage and the breeze blowing through there while listening to the leaves swirl was amazing. My favorite time of year.
Louie-If is it TOM week and the scale is not up, then i count that as friend all the way. That is great. Sounds like you are in for good news when the week is over.

Stacy, congrats on the scale victory. We all know how you've worked for it and it all paid off! Great going! How's the new room coming along?
Robbin, you're right. At least the scale isn't up! Take joy in that alone. Now, for some will power...POOF! I'm trying to wish you the fairy fat mother to come along with you. She'll be a great motivater to stay away from her enemies.
Louie, I sure did watch the biggest loser and enjoyed every inspirational minute of it. Boy, they sure work out hard don't they? Makes me feel like I need to step it up...
Well, ladies...I had a blurp last night. Of course I had to blow it all and gave in to a moment of weakness. I was craving something salty and gave into having two small servings of avacado "taco" texture type chips...well, when you have something salty you need something sweet to counter act and I gave into 6 cookies!! Lets just say, it felt comforting going in my mouth but needless to say the second I swallowed it had a bad after taste of gut wrenching GUILT! I was so pissed at myself to say the least, and scale sure reminded me of that this morning...214! I have watched everything today and have kept my totals inline. I didn't get to go walk so I took some of Robbins advice and played with Alyssa on the trampoline for 1/2hr. I hope that'll do. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I can undo my weakness and get back sooner than later! I'm figuring it was that crazy lady who comes round once a month that made me do it. She's due to visit any day now.
Hope you had a good day!
TTFN!

Good Morning Ladies
The scale was good to me this morning, and it appears that I am down another 2 lbs. Although I had one of those days yesterday where I didn't really feel like eating, so maybe that has something to do with it !
Stacy ~ congrats on your FF Mother visit... 2 lbs whooo hoooo
Robbin ~ how did the fair go ?
Tina ~ isn't it funny how something tastes so good, but makes us feel so bad. I am sure those lbs won't stick around too long, all that work on the trampoline will help to shed them back off
Emily, Ryanmi, Cheryl, Tammy, Shawn and to all the other chicks ~ hope you are doing well and enjoying your weekend.
Erin ~ haven't seen you post lately.. hope you are doing okay ?? Drop in for a fly by if you get the chance
I am off to brew me a and get the day started. Have a good one and I will TTYS

Hey everyone-
Well, my dh ended up getting an infection and has been back in the hospital since Friday. His upper lip was swollen probably 10x normal- he looked (and felt) awful!! So he's been on IV antibiotics and the swelling is going down (slowly- that' why he's still there...)
It's been stressful, but you guys will be so proud of me!! Instead of turning to food, I have stayed on track and even found time on Friday and today for my treadmill. I'm pretty proud of myself Loving what the scale has been doing too, lol.
Anyway- so that's what's up with me. Might be a couple days before I am back to posting regularly.

Hey girls how was the weekend for everyone? Mine was pretty good. I handled the fair decently, not great cause I did have 1 corn dog but since the scales were down to 224 on saturday morning I figured all of the walking had canceled out the food. Yesterday morning they were still 224 so I was on cloud nine. This morning they are at 226, YUCK. However I think it might have something to do with my dinner last night. I made crawfish and for anyone that has never had it cajun style it is loaded with sodium, tons and tons of salt and spices. My hands are all puffy and I can't get my ring off. So I am loading up on the water today and crossing my fingers that the scales will go back down.
Well it is time to clock into work. Hope you all have a good day.

Happy Monday
Boy, it sure has been quiet in here over the weekend. Where is all our peeps?! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine... the usual, nothing spectacular. The scales came back down saturday morning to 211.5, but yesterday I went to a going away party for a guy at my hubbys office. So I guess that would explain the one pound uppage this morning. I just had to try a little of each and I mean a little, so I'm proud that I didn't just go all out and pig out. I tried deep end water aerobics this morning at our local pool. It works out perfect with Alyssa's school schedule. What a workout! I'm a little sore right now and hardly have enough strength to move, but I guess that would mean it was working, right? I think I'm going to go again tomorrow morning, give it a try for a few days and see if helps me get things moving along a little faster.
Louie, woo Hooo! Congrats on the two lbs. taking their leave and never to return! Yes, that feeling of satifaction sure turns into utter guilt awfully fast. What I find funny is that we already know this and yet we still do it! LOL! Oh well, we're only human right!
Emily, ohh..sorry hear of your hubbys infection. That sounded so awful. Good girl for keeping your eye on the prize during this time. There's some determination to hang on to. I hope all is well for your hubby soon!
Robbin, wow, you had some amazing restraint at the fair. Great determination too! You're doing right by the water, WWW will be gone in no time. You'll be beating that ticker weight this week for sure!
Have a great day ladies!
TTFN!

Hello ladies, I had a decent weekend. Ok, so I had a HUGE splurge on friday, which was planned but i didnt plan on having a cinnamon roll. (but it sure was good), was so-so on program on saturday but did relatively well on sunday and was strickly on tract by monday. i swear the weekends are just so hard for me. Dang dh and his big breakfast weekends. Plus it never ceases to amaze me how quickly condiments add up. Geeze. I was fine for saturday bkf, then i thought, oh, i didnt count the cheese on the eggs, or the butter he put on the bagel, just seems like those condiments sneak up on me.
My dear 7 year old, olivia is sick, sick today. She has had a sore throat since friday with a fever...why oh why do they always get sick on the weekends when the drs office is closed? but i took her in to the doc this morning and i was shocked....scarlet fever. i didnt even know that stuff still went around. Poor baby feels so bad, so i called in sick to work today and have spent it babying her. Probably the same tomorrow. She got this fever from a girl in her class. Those of you with children, does your school celebrate perfect attendance? How do you feel about that? I HATE IT. I really dont understand why we commend parents for sending their kids to school sick? So i think with that in mind, i am going to send the school, our county dept of education AND the little girls mother my doctor bill with a note of WHY they are getting my daughters doctor bill. Its just the point of the matter...sorry to rant.
Tina-Ooooh deep end water aerobics...that sounds cool. My father has a pool and he lives accross the street from us. I wonder if there are workout videos of deep water aerobics. It is a bit cool for this year, but it might work out great for next summer. I sure get tired of my elliptical. 211 lbs sounds great, just think, not to many weeks ago you were just hoping to get back to 215....so it seems like you are trucking along very nicely. Oh, and my bedroom is FINALLY done. I slept like a baby in my pretty new room.
Ribbin: Wow, good job at the county fair. That is wonderful...i would have had to at least split a funnel cake. Mmmm crawfish, my ds favorite. Cajon stuff can have so much flavor....you can do a lot with it and never miss the fat because of all the flavor.
Jelynn-Good for you for staying on plan while dh is sick. Plus getting in some exercise...wow, impressive, i know that is a tough one.
Louie-Excellent job with the 2 pounds. We tied this week, ha ha.
Ok, gotta go give my little angel more Motrin.

Hey ladies! Sorry I haven't been around much. These kids keep me so busy, and then I'm just exhausted, ya know? Their birthday party is this saturday, so I've been getting ready for that. I'm ready for things to slow down a bit!
I took the girls to the gym with me tonight. I only worked out twice last week, and I'm not sure if this week will be any better. But I'll see what I can do. I splurged alot this weekend, but on the scale today was the same... so am pleased I'm holding steady.
I tell ya what, though! On Sat night, after splurging on Friday & Saturday ALOT, laying in bed that night I was just miserable. I was beating myself up so bad, and the guilt is just SOOO not worth it! It felt really good to get back on plan, and I keep reminding myself of how bad I felt when I was making poor choices.
Ok, ladies. I'm gonna run for now. Sorry I'm not doing personals, but I DID read them all... just not up to responding right now. Hope to check back in soon, though!
