Ok, sorry I disapeared for a while, I'm a nurse and I've had to pick up a lot of mandatory shifts latley - it stinks and it leaves me with no time for a social life (even a computer one) I've been off to a very rocky start I've done day 1 3 times so far because I just can't see taking a pause for day #2. ANyway this time today is day 2 - so hopefully I can keep the exercise going a make tommorw day 3 - got run but just wanted to check in with everyone -
YOu all look awesome keep up the great work

You're right Red, this isn't fun! Sometimes I wonder if there are enough hours in the day to exercise! Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be. All we can do is to do what we can and count those calories! I'm at a point now that at least I'm not so unhappy about my weight, so I can try to relax and not worry when the scale isn't moving as fast as it used to. It took me a long time to gain all that weight, I guess it makes sense that it might take a while to lose it.

Now, if I can get through the next few days.... Had a munchie attack when I read something on my computer that my son probably didn't want me to read! Call me nosy, but he is fifteen and a few certain words jumped out at me. It seems that he and his girlfriend are getting a little too close for comfort. I'm not sure exactly how close yet, but it didn't sound too good. Of course I ended up raiding the pantry. Didn't do too bad, but ended up with a 262 calorie binge. Hopefully I'll pull a save though. The day isn't done and I still have calories left for dinner. However, we'll have to see how I handle the "talk" my son and I are having when he gets off work!

Anyways, had to vent I guess. Better go get ready to pick him up.

mum- glad you found your way here. i have this group to be a great support and also a lot of fun!!

ilostit- welcome!! your weight loss is such an inspiration, how did you do it and how long did it take you?

dj- don't be too hard on yourself for the munchie attack, i think that we all would have handled it the same way. i have a 14 yr. old boy so i understand your stress. thankfully, (knock on wood) he has not had a serious relationship yet, but i know that it is just around the corner. good luck with the talk. i will be thinking about you.

First off thanks ladies for the encouragement. Today was much better than yesterday but still not back on my feet quite yet... getting there. Got all my challenges notched off today though! One more day!. I'll be in and out for about a week now... in the process of moving, half my stuff is already there and half here too. Moved my scale already so I'm not such a slave to it. I can't wait to get to that first ten pounds gone mark! I guess to me that means I'm really on my way! Won't have internet till next week most likely once I move my computer so I may be absent for a while!
Can't wait to get back to school (have 2 years left hopefully! doing a 6 year program in 5 if all goes well!). Can't wait to get back to a normal routine, my other job and my friends. And honestly I can't wait to go back to the gym up there. It took me a long time to get over the 'fat chick in the gym' syndrome but once I got going I loved it! Hopefully it'll take care of some of my stress!
Welcome to the newbies!! Can't wait to see you progress!

Challenges:
Day 20/ 3 pauses used -Only one glass of Diet Coke a day or less (Level 3)
FINISHED!! At least one bottle (34oz) of water a day (Level 3)
Day 20/ 3 pauses used -20 minutes of exercise a day (Level 3)
Day 20/ 3 pauses used -No eating after 9pm (Level 3)

Day 19 - exercise - pause, 1 pause left

Day 14 - calories under 1800 - good, 0 pauses left, level 1

Well, after the emotional binge I had yesterday, I managed to avoid a pause. I didn't get to have the dinner I had planned but that's ok. At least I kept my calories in check.

Pink - good luck with the move. Hope to see you back soon.

IlostIt! Congrats on the awesome weight loss!

Have a good day all.
