I have 20 pounds of problems to lose Ellen!!! Someone brought me a slice of pineapple upside down cake - yum and cookies - yum , yum.....so hungry.

Fed up today! Rach called from school needing to come home and I don't blame her. She had some uninvited guest show up to speak with her and sent her around the loony bin. PISSED me off. If you wanna chat with my kid ask her muther first! Show up on the second day back at school - whatEVER.

The uninvited guest showed up at my work place and I gave them an earfull.Jerks. Nevah show up at my workplace! I was shaking and in tears afterward.

Finally spoke with my supervisor (after he got back from a meeting that I was suppose to be at - I forgot though. haha) and he/I suggested shortening my hours from 10 to 4. It would give me more time in the morning to get Rach settled wherever she is going to settle - lol.........k- thought that was funny.

Going for stress leave next......lol

I think the kitty is named Jeff, I don't know where Jack came from but it is Jeff. I don't know who named him but he is a sweetie.

I agree with the babysteps thing Ang. I just told Rach I was happy that she called me instead of just leaving the school. She is doing good, such a sweet girl.

I better go. Exhausted. Ho to all!!

lol - going to trot over to Traders Joes and get something to eat!!

Whew Ellen, loved your post, I was reading it almost in one breath I could almost hear your saying it.. and your house sounds lovely.. all those pastels colors, it kind of reminded me of sherbert.... anyway, it sounds very pretty.
I like yellow but don't have it in my house as a dominent color. But it's an idea. I have a small tv room to redo before my son's wedding, I have a dining room/livingroom which flow into each other done in called county cork, its a deep sand color. Very neutral. I have had blue in the house for the past 32 years and decided to go neutral. AFter doing the lavender sage bathroom, and my bedroom upstairs is a deep pink with two walls in a faux sponge print, I decided on the solid neutral downstairs. I have to redo my kitchen too, and you gals can be of a great help there for me. I have red brick paneling in there I want to change it.. lighten it up. I'll take any advice into consideration.

It was funny, after work I was reading the posts again read something about the dryer lint trap cleaning. I went in and turned on the tv set, the first thing that popped on was an infomercial about having fire hazards in your home. They were talking about the fact that if your dryer takes more than one cycle to dry your clothes, or gets to hot when working and etc. to clean the lint trap thoroughly or it could cause a fire. It reminded me of, (now who was it?) and her lint trap.. So be glad you called a repair man, you may have saved your home from a fire.... see how all things happen for a reason.

I m going off to baby sit in just a few minutes. But will answer your guestion, Jane. Begonias are so tight together in a seed flat that they are hard to separate and transplant into flats. They break easily and are tiny to begin with so often you end up with a broken stem which will not grow so you can't plant them, or a hand full of tiny leaves, also which you can't plant. So you have to go slow and easy with the tiny babies... but good news is we finished them today, and then went on to portulacas (moss roses) and coleus. Tomorrow we are moving into a different greenhouse. Way out back. Did I tell you gals we have 16 greenhouses, which we have to fill with plants in about 4 months time, not counting the ones we have to start in Mid summer to be ready for cuttings now. Then starting the end of April we shift gears and start to move everything out. We are usually sold out by the 4th of July with spring plants, but somewhere in there we have to have a fall crop started and growing..

Well, I can't go into any individuals tonight. I'll have to save that for tomorrow. oh by the way, we never got any flurries today, it is mighty cold out though.

have a good night all,
Ginny

Susan--my son got a kitty that was barely weaned when his roomate moved out and took the cat that loved my son better--DS named this little orange girl kitty Janey (from the Van Halen song Janeys crying and the Aerosmith song Janeys gotta gun) while it turned out that Janey is a BOY..I ttold DS that the lead singer from Warrant who was on Celebrity Fit Club is a guy named Janey, but kitty's name is now Cat.
Ginny--I think I want to quit my job and come play with the plants with you!!
