I could start to hate you Katy....*glare
I have both Wicked and the Son of Wicked on hold at the library....
I wanna go with you!! Full blown hissy fit right now...think 3 yr old temper tantrum.....
Did Hairspray get sold out? I don't see it on the web site. Have to keep Ang happy when she isn't eating elephant ears. We do have this Lady Bug theatre that has plays for children - lol
Keller is in Portland Angie. I am calling them now.......ok, I called.
The tickets go on sale April 30th. The show run froms June 20/25th.
There is a broadway package that I am thinking Katy has because they are only selling the package to broadway shows now and waiting for single shows until the 30th of April. blah - blah
If you want more details call 503 241 1802.
We don't have the package; but my FIL is on the Metro Expo Recreation Commission, aka MERC. He can get tickets for us way ahead of time. We still pay for them but can pick our seats....we call them MERC perks, haha
Don't have the Hairspray tix in our hot little hands yet, but my MIL has said when we can get them to get them as a gift from her. That run is really short...weird. Seems like they could sell out a longer run.
You are so cultured Katy - lol I think they said the tickets were between 25/75.
I am excited about Wiggles though- they are coming back in April I need to see if there are any good tickets left. Last time Gaby and I got nose bleeds being so far up - lol she is so cute.
Cristi - which hotel are you staying in? I'm wondering if one south of town would be easier for you and Marti both to drive to? Marti isn't used to driving in a big city - not sure if you are, or not.
Marti - what're your feeling about meeting south of town?
The bookstore sounds like a really good idea, Katy! I could spend a couple of hours in one, lol. There is NO bookstore in Vincennes! If I want to browse other than at Walmart, I have to go to Evansville.
The Rose Garden and the Japanese Garden sound nice, too.
If I go, I won't get to see Hairspray, since I'll be leaving Sunday.
Just a thouht - if we do end up staying in the south of Portland, here's a link for a nice hotel. It's affordable - about $109.00 before taxes per night. Take a peek, ok?
JANE...I'm not sure yet what hotel I'll be staying at. It's between two downtown. Right off hand I can't think of the names but I have the printed out info somewhere. I took a look at the Marriott and it is nice. I think though I would rather just stay in one downtown since it is in the middle of town and where we would probably end up anyway. So either way I think I would end up driving. I don't have a problem with driving in big cities...I lived in CA for 1/2 my life in big cities. So, I really don't mind it.
I too could spend a lot of time in the bookstore!
SUSAN..both gardens sound so nice, and again, I'm up for wherever you guys want to meet.
Ten minutes south of downtown Portland...probably about 5 minutes from Susan and me...we could show you around Multnomah Village! Here's info on our lovely little 'hood http://www.multnomahvillage.org/
