Where to start? Okay maybe with comments to the posts. I'm not thinking straight today and I haven't been anywhere near the eliptical either.
Ruth - Thank you for the suggestion and willingness to help but no thank you. I suspect that if we were to start on a separate sub forum, several others may want to do the same thing and it would cause some problems for the 3FC. Also we may not get read as much and so not get wonderful new people because we are harder to find or whatever. So we will just have to make do with what we have. Should we need/ want to, we can just copy the entry and take it with us when we are kicked out of the village - uhhhh sorry when we move to a bigger house with a bigger pool and bigger gardens etc.etc. Those are my thoughts anyway, however I am not the keeper of the key to this thread. How do others think?
Happy - I am sure that you can look forward to more than pain relief. What Teels problem with arthritis and Linus' problem with arthritis is may not be what you have. They seem to have spinal degeneration among other things. Listen to the lady doc(s) who seem to have gained your confidence. Read up on RA and learn what you can do to alleviate it. Certainly losing weight and moving will help! Did I hear you say
'mumble, mumble'?
Raven - Congrats on getting that business up and running. I'm sure you will get to the required number of feet shortly and that everything will be fine and dandy for you. It may be hard, but it is not work if you love what you are doing!.
Sad to hear about the childrens Dad, but he's not really a dad is he. No doubt he has good intentions but......
Mel - the PJ's sound divine and I certainly don't need a lend of your slippers at the moment. Also, I will have a go at that recipe as well. Might try it out on the troops for our new year bbq. Chicken breasts are cheap at the moment. Yes I feel bad about yesterday, however I have to look at it as - it wasn't my fault, I just happened to be there. It was a dreadful waste of life. It will scar the person driving the car for life - she had to be taken away in an ambulance, she was hysterical. And I did the best that I could at the time, called the ambulance, called the police, gave a statement etc.etc. Now I just have to work through the guilt (yes there always is some - what else should I have done) and move on.
Madcat - You ain't gatecrashing anything lady. Mel seems to think it is an open gate but really it is more like a revolving door - what goes around comes around etc. etc. And I find the answer to so many questions here. So much wisdom in one little thread. (Now we can have legal advice too, with the advent of Morrili.
So Friday May 5th I have to stand up, face north-east and drink a toast to my friend Madcat and her man! Did you not realise that you need to take the ring OFF to put on the nylons? London sounds fun - May is when the seasons start to wake up and you will see all the very pale poms emerging from their burrows.
Next time I am in Toronto, we will go for that drink (and it won't be mineral water) and have something to eat (not celery) and I will do my normal I'm a Kiwi, I don't tip thing and embarass the heck out of you.
Ceejay - echoing Happy's thoughts, drive carefully. Come back safe. Some folk can do exercise late at night. I am not one of them. But whatever suits and makes it easy for you to do - then do it.
I hope I made the run down on the good folk worldly chicks nice enough for you?
Holly - Sounds like a lot of fun was had by all at the kid's Christmas concert.

rockstar daughter
Morrili - you came back after all that!!!!

You obviously have what it takes to understand this lot. Actually we are relatively sane and sober and sometimes we even talk about our weight problems. We're here to support whatever you want to do with the weight, but we reserve the right to give our opinions and advice as well. Welcome to our world.
Linus - If chewing gum is all that was chucked then for the life of me I can't see a case to answer. Unless it hit her straight in the open gob then it is grotty, unseemly, crude and probably bad for her ego, but is hardly harmful. I've never actually heard of chewing gum as a weapon before. Anyway, we hope it will all end sensibly. As for the Infacol, colic and CJ, well go for it. Whatever brings peace. DS1 was a colicky baby for the first 9 months of his life. I don't know if he/ we would have survived if not for Infant Phenergan. Also you might try propping him up so his head and upper body are always higher than his feet. DS1 lived in the bouncinette because he couldn't sleep in a cot or bassinette.
Painter - The e-mail thing seems to work for me most of the time. However you only get notification of the first entry after you have been to the site - it actually or it used to anyway, say that there may be more entries but you have to go to the site to view them. Try making a time to go to the site everyday. With your morning coffee or whatever.
Yes I've heard of the Darwin awards. That guy on the roof won't get one. He's still alive although he will never be the same again. Our wet season lasts until about end of December and into January - most of summer really. Then by Feb it cools down a bit and we are back to living in paradise.
I'm very happy to hear that the energy levels are increasing. That is good news.
Meadow - safe journey and have a grand family time. Come back safe. When do you get back by the way?? Happy WATP - I presume you are taking the tape with you
Okay, that's it, another novel. I'm suffering from verbal diarrhea (sp). I'll go back and put Happy's contribution to the bio's on the list and get to work.
See ya.
