GREAT JOB DEB! Stay safe & out of the way of the storm. Thank goodness, it seems to be lessening in strength.
Dee, when do you go in for surgery this week? Everything will be ok, just keep the faith. When the jitters hit, just think of your goal in 6 months to look the very best you can, maybe that will help.
Just a quick hello to everyone.
Sherry and Debbie you are doing fantastic! Keep it up and keep inspiring me!!!
Dee, good luck with the surgery. I'm sure you will be happy with the results. I'll be thinking about you!
I'm glad those threatened by the hurricane are doing okay. Hopefully the worst is over. My new step-sister and her husband were on a cruise that was supposed to dock in New Orleans yesterday. They diverted the ship to Galveston, Texas. Unfortunately, DeAnna's car was parked in New Orleans and is probably a complete loss. They rented a car in Texas and drove home today. At least a car can be replaced. I feel so terrible for all those people who are now homeless.
Okay, I'm off to bed now. Have a great evening everyone!
Dee, you'll do just fine, relax and take advantage of the experience. I will be thinking of you!
Ramona, nice to see you! Glad your family is safe. I told Steve tonight we have no room to complain about anything in our life. If we did then we would be awful selfish considering what so many have been through with the hurricane.
Sher, my husband enjoyed the game! In fact he kept playing it over & over! He wanted to know if the pic was you!!! I said YES! LOL!
Shelley I really needed to hear that you are sending extra hugs and kisses my way. Thank you.
Gayle thanks for the encouragement. I just have to focus on the out come. Larry said that the scars won't bother him, and that he wouldn't even see them.
Ramona thanks for thinking of me. I am sorry to hear about DeAnna's car, luckly that they were safe on their cruise. How are you feeling now about your Dad's marraige and your new step family?
I will try to post later tonight if I get a chance. If not I love you and appreciate all the support that you have given me. Larry will post on how I am doing. He will let me know what is going on here so you girls better be good.
We are out of school today due to the winds, rain & storms. A lot of people are out of power here but nothing compared to where Katrina hit.We are all fine. The winds were really bad last night and this morning. Things are calming down now.
I have a bad headache and can't post now but wanted to stop in and say hi.
Dee....I know how excited & nervous you must feel! Your surgery will go well and you'll be one sexy mama!! We're all here for you! I love you!
Sherry-I feel for all those people affected by the storm, because it could have easily hit here. We are all very lucky that it didn't affect us much. I'm sure the kids were much safer being home rather than at school. They say the reason they close is because the buses aren't safe in high winds.
One of my friends on the WW running thread lost her home and everything to the hurricane. She lived in New Orleans. Now she is relocating to Houston. So sad! The running people have a donation email going on for her family.
Dee-I hope everything went well. I want to see before and after pix!
I wonder how Jennelle is??? Has anyone heard???? I was thinking she is located right around where the hurricane hit the hardest.
It's sickening to watch the television and see the pictures of all the lives destroyed from a natural disaster. So many of those people have nothing left of their homes etc. One lady said it best, when questioned about losing her home, she said that was nothing compared to if she lost a family member. Prayers are sent to everyone facing such a horrible time.
