Just wanted to point out that I meant to make a list of the things that you CAN'T do now because of the weight that you want to do once you are healthier and thinner.
For example, I can't really paint my toenails, or tie my shoes without some kind of strain with bending over, etc. It's sad, but it's true. So that's one thing on my list of things I want to be able to do, paint my toenails without strain.
Or get into the drivers seat of a car without having to put the seat all the way back as far as it can go to fit.
I am a person who likes to do things now than later as well...but some of these things, I just physically cannot do right now.
I went to a movie with my sister tonight, just had popcorn no butter and a little bit of diet pepsi. I have to get up early tomorrow to babysit while my sister goes to a job interview. So this gives me a REASON to get my lazy butt out of bed in the early morning and hopefully make myself do some exercise.
I made a mix c.d to exercise to last night. 17 songs that make me want to move when I hear them. So it should be fun to walk, or run, or whatever to.
Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow. I'm looking forward to monday weigh in, although, I'm worried too because I'm scared it won't move down at all.

Hey gals!

Thanks for the Birthday wishes. I probably indulged more than what I wanted to, both Saturday and Sunday And boy, was it hard to get back on Monday. But I'm back on track now. Went for my walk last night. I'm hoping to be able to go again tonight, if I dont have to work

Im sure I'll always have to do that. being 6'2 really sucks sometimes Buuut..I'd love to be able to not use the seatbelt extender for the drivers seat. Its funny, for the passenger side, I don't have to, but the drivers side I do. *grr* I'd also love to be able to walk up flights of stairs in school and not be out of breath and red in the face

Yeah, I got some songs on my mp3payer specifially for when I'm exercising. I need more songs though (I love my music). What ones do you use?

I LOVE the stuff you mentioned about "what can not be done now" but WILL be accomplished as we become the Zena Warrior Princesses!! Amen! I would LOVE to be able to paint my own toenails!!!! LOLOLOLOLOL Yeah, and get behind the drivers seat without pulling back the seat lolololol. I'd like to be able sit comfortably in a movie theatre and cuddle. I'd like to be able wear an innertube in the pool that actually fits. I'd like to be able to pick up the dogs (small) without having to perform contortions...I'd like to be able to shrink faster than my underwear does!

LOLOLO you all are a riot!

Lots of great ideas!

So mid week... 10 days since I've started and I've already hid a bad spot. But I'm not beating myself up... just yet. I'm good to go back 100% tomorrow (because my tummy hurts... uggh) I haven't eaten sugar or late at night and the chocolate is acutally making me feel a little ill. Damn you chocolate, I thought you were my friend!

Iv'e got to get started on a list myself. I don't have to change diapers anymore, so I can't used the one about getting up and down from the floor to do that. But, I'd still like to be able to get from the floor without looking like a major ordeal!

Ahh, the list. I think the top one on the list is to be able to avoid the plus size stores, walk into a trendy boutique, pick something off the rack and it fits! Another thing on my list is to actually get fit, so I can keep up with the class instead of always trying to keep up!

Ok, had an EXCELLENT day today. I ate under my points, I exercised for almost an hour and I feel great.
I also cleaned the house from top to bottom and carried some pretty heavy furniture upstairs all by myself so I probably burned quite a bit of calories from that alone! =) I hope everyone is doing great. I was thinking that maybe at the start of each new week we can start a new thread?? So monday morning whoever is the first one to post their weigh-in, maybe they could start a new thread and label it The Butterfliesweek2 or whatever. Just an idea. I hope everyone has a wonderful healthy weekend!!! HUGS TO ALL!!

Unhappy Gained a pound

My weigh in, not so good. I gained a pound. Some bad eating habits kicked in this week, so I know what I did and can correct the behaviour for this week. I am mad at myself because I feel I have wasted a week, though I know time should not be a factor. I was in foul mood anyway by the time I weighed in, as I had to buy a bathing suit at lunch for a camping trip I am going on in two weeks. That is always fun. However, on the upside, my BMI is down (has been decreasing since I started my program) and I finally fit into a pair of jeans (right out of the dryer) that I have not been able to wear because the jeans were way to tight to be worn comfortably. The jeans are now slightly loose. Small successes right?

Anyway, starting a new thread each week sounds like a great idea. Everyone have a great weekend!

Talking

Hi everyone! I am at my parents for the weekend so I have internnet access right now! Sounds like everyone is doing a great job. This week I have been able to wear some sleevless dresses that I bought a few years ago. It was nice to be able to put these on. It seems like they have been tight forever!!!! lol
I am still conscious of my arms so I wore a jacket with them. (I need to start working on arms!!)
I have been drinking more water which is good. I have a 24 oz water bottle that I fill up at work at least 3-4 times a day.
I've been going to the gym every day after work. So far I have still just used the treadmill.
Last night, I met my trainer and she showed me how to use the other cardio machines. I am going to start working my way on those this week. I meet with my trainer in a week to start with weight training.
I am getting frustrated because I am between sizes in jeans. Size 18 falls off of me and a size 16 is still a little too tight. UGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!
Well I guess I better stop talkin your heads off.. I just wanted to check in to let y'all know I am still here
Have a great weekend!!

I'm frustrated too...

I had cheated on Tuesday, so on Wednesday I ate less but I didn't eat what I was supposed to. Thursday I weighed myself midday with clothes on just to get an idea of how bad it was. I weighed the same as on Monday (253) I was surprised. So the past few days, I've been watching what I eat but not on my plan 100%. I weighed yesterday afternoon and I was 253.8 or something, so I was excited that maybe this morning I'd be 252. I was 254.4 I guess whatever I ate made me retain water, or something. I don't understand how that happens!

At least I'm back on track with my eating and water. I shouldn't weigh so much I think, too depressing!

So, are we starting a new thread on Monday? Butterflies Week 2? Sounds good to me!

Default Saturday!!!

HI Gals!!!!

Hope everyone is having a good start to the weekend. I'm busy stressing out.. looked at the calendar last night and realized i had 13 days left in the summer quarter to get all my coursework done..

I did fairly well this week.. ate several small meals and started each day with something for breakfast and tried my best to get my water in.

Weather is still warm here so Hubby and I have been enjoying that swimming pool... ( under the cloak of darkness though!) ick the sight of me in a swimsuit right now.. yuck...

Got on the scale the other day and i've lost 5 lbs!!! WHOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO now if i can just step up the excercise and quit the emotional eating. ( stressing out here due to school and my lack of income.... and what do I do??? EAT!)

New thread sounds great w/ me also!

Now im headed back to the books..

I don't really like it when they are multiple threads for the same group. But if everyone feels its okay then I guess I'll just have to deal lol.

I don't have much to report. I wish the scale would move. But then again since I've recently moved back home from campus...its not like there's a bountiful of healthy dishes...if you know what i mean.

once i get back i need to figure out some type of plan. any suggestions?

oh and i don't know if i mentioned this but i'll be gone from 8/15-8/29. i'll try to check in but its not granted...as i have not yet figured out how to set up my free month of wi-fi.

everyone join us in the new thread for the week, we are starting a new one each week. I feel this is best, because it takes one week at a time, and is not as confusing. Haven't seen all of you in there that replied to this thread, so hope to see you there soon. =) Butterflies2 =)
