I am up for whatever challenge everyone else wants to do. My own personal goal is to reach my ultimate goal of 150 by November 1st. That might be a little optimistic but I should at least be close by then, so I am going to try.

Got our first watermelon out of our garden last night. I've been buying them at the grocery store and they aren't half as sweet as this one. Of course they are all getting ready at the same time in the garden so I will be eating lots of watermelon for a while!

I have a question for everyone...does anyone else notice that your friends and acquaintances treat you differently as you get smaller? Some people who never seemed to know I existed now go out of their way to be friendly with me...and others who I used to be friends with now act like they barely know me. Sometimes it really just bums me out because I miss talking to them. I have really made it a point not to act any differently and NOT to talk about my weight loss with any of them except when they ask (and sometimes I think some friends ask about it just because they think they should and not because they are happy for me), so I don't really understand what the problem is. Thank goodness I have a few really awesome friends who are happy for me no matter what...but I still feel bad about the other friendships that seem like they are ending for no good reason that I can figure out.

I almost hate to watch the news today....all the Katrina devastation is enough to make anybody with half a heart cry. How terrible.

Did ok with exercise today. I walked for a half hour before and a half hour after work, then I came home and got on the NordicTrack for 20 minutes and the bike for 10 minutes, and followed up with my ab workout. Food was ok even though we went out for supper. I had a huge grilled chicken salad, and they gave me tons of cheese, croutons, and boiled eggs but fortunately all that stuff was piled up on the sides of it so I could just put what I wanted on the chicken and veggie part of it.
