I just had to send another quick note to say Haley, you are amazing! I am so impressed with your dedication. I agree--mixing up exercise is so important to me because I get bored.

Meldiggety 09-08-2005 12:34 AM

Shirah and Rikki - Way to go on your loss! :cb:

Haley - You are doing such a good job on working out - keep it up and you will be as amazed with yourself as we all are with you! ;)

Nicki - Feel better! I agree with Karen, since you can't do anything about working out while you are sick, just eat well since you do have control over that.

Karen - After camping out on the ground (& getting no sleep)to wait for wristbands so that I could audition and then having to come back the next day at 5 am and being told by one of the producers that what they are looking for is good tv, not necessarily "real talent".....I realized the American Idol audition thing was a big joke.....they make it seem like in each place they audition they have all these terrible singers & one good one.......they also make it seem like everyone gets to audition for Simon, Paula and Randy, when in reality, they make you go through 2 rounds of auditions with AI employees before you are even seen by the tv judges. Before I auditioned, I watched 250 people audition (most all of them had good voices)in a huge auditorium and only 5 passed through the 1 round. One of them that passed through couldn't sing, but he didn't have a great image either, so I am not sure how he got through? They were looking for people who stood out more than they were looking for people with good voices.....I am not all that flamboyant, but I can sing, so I guess they were looking for something else. I would feel bad about it except that I saw people with even greater vocal ability than me that didn't make it through. It's all about ratings :nono: At least I got the curiosity out of my system though

haleys 09-08-2005 12:35 PM

Melanie, I've heard things like that to about AI, about how they just want good tv not great singers. So, you're too good for them.

I can't even explain how sore I am, it's mostly my butt. I did do a bunch of lunges during the class, but I didn't think that would be the part that hurt the most. I wish I could sit in a big hot tub and just relax right now, but I have class and no hot tub, oh well! The week is almost over, keep making good choices!

I think I'm going to try to the turbo kickboxing class again at my gym if I'm not to sore to move by then.

debbietexas 09-08-2005 09:34 PM

I just wanted to pop in and say hey to all. I am still around lol. Today went on house cleaning tangent and to tired to even move. It looks like everyone is doing so great and I agree I would have been going lot faster if I had found this site sooner. I don't bother with the scales anymore because I get to depressed. I do know clothes are fitting good and I feel better. Thanks Karen I actually even feel like sexy hot mama now. Well eyes closing here. Congrads on everyone doing so good. nite nite

RLK2005 09-08-2005 11:01 PM

Hello everyone. Hope everyone has a good weekend. I will be out of town so here's hoping I can stay on plan and eat out!

Rikki

Sunfire 09-09-2005 12:09 AM

How are all of you girls doing?! I don't think I will workout tomorrow, but hopefully I will feel 100% on Saturday! My eating today has been good, so I'm happy about that. Weigh-in day tomorrow Melanie! :p

TifRN 09-09-2005 08:19 AM

Hey everyone. I introduced myself on this board last week... but this past week has been so crazy, I haven't gotten to post anything. Just as a refresher... I"m 25, looking to lose 50 pounds (i'm down 3 so far) and really need the motivation of an encouraging bunch like you guys.

Last night I had a HARD night. First, I felt depressed about my body. I am sure everyone goes through this. But I was looking up abdominoplasty on the computer! I know that's not the route to go (Besides, I haven't even had kids yet!) but I must have been REALLY depressed. Then I was STARVING and kept battling with myself not to eat a sandwich. I finally ate some pickles and peanut butter crackers (yeah, you probably think Im preggers, but I'm not!! AT least I don't think so!) and drank some water and that got rid of the sandwich and chips craving.

So I laid down to go to bed and all I could think about was my stomach, how much I hate it, and how much I want it GONE! I'm gonna dig out the ab roller and start doing it every day. I'm gonna start walking...walking the dog..walking by myself...anything to get my *** in GEAR. I've made the excuse that I don't have time for years since I've been in college. I know I'm busy, but I can take out at least a half hour a day to start out.

My husband... he's wonderful. He tells me everyday he loves my body. But this is for me. I know that he won't be kickin my *** if I don't work out, so I need you girls to do it for me lol!

Sorry for such the long post, I just want you girls to get to know me. I graduate on December 16th, and I want to look GOOD at graduation. I look forward to getting to know all of you.

haleys 09-09-2005 12:08 PM

It sucks to go through hating your body, but I think it's giving you what you need to get in gear. It's not bad to have a sandwich, just have a healthy sandwich and if you crave chips get some small bags of baked ones or some pretzels. There is a way to eat everything you want to eat, you just have to portion it. Yesterday I had full fat mac & cheese, but I didn't go over my cals for the day because I put that into my daily intake.

If you haven't yet you should start keeping track of everything you put into your mouth, www.fitday.com is a great resource, it lets you put in every food and exercise you do daily. It cant really help you to realize how much you are eating a day. I don't know how many calories you should consume for your weight, but I eat about 1200 daily.

Definitely start walking, you'll see changes if you just stick to a good eating plan and exercise routine. Good luck!!

Sunfire 09-09-2005 01:44 PM

Sorry, I'll read what you wonderful ladies said in a little bit. Only have time to post... I weighed in at like 203.5 or 204, something like that. A few days ago I was at like 202! I guess it was from being sick, and now I'm back to normal. Boo. If I only could have worked out this week, I bet I would see a bigger drop. I feel like every week that i don't lose, or only lose like 1/2 pound, it's bad. Like I keep getting closer to January (when my cruise is) and it's like I feel like I don't have enough time. I mean, I don't want to lose all of my weight by then, but I want to have lost enough to make me feel good about myself, you know? I don't know. It's sort of... depressing. Like "Am I going to be able to do it?". I just don't know, because I have failed in the past. Ugh.

[/vent]

Sunfire 09-10-2005 01:36 AM

Dang, where ARE you girls?!

suzefactor 09-10-2005 07:50 AM

i've been crazy busy between my son and work. i've not been working out, and i've been following my diet most of the day...up until dinner, that is. ugh. why am i falling off!! i'm still at 194 though, so at least i haven't gained any weight. i feel ya, nikki.

congrats to those that had weight loss last week.

this upcoming week i'm joining weight watchers.

right now i just have to decide what in the heck i'm going to eat for breakfast. i'm tired of fake sausage. and waffles. i want french toast and bacon. grr.

Amybeth 09-10-2005 03:37 PM

Hi Everyone, this week was an interesting week. (first week on weight watchers) I had a horrible week and felt like I pretty much gave up half way through and decided to start over today and I stepped on the scale today and I lost 3.5 pounds! I cant believe it. I guess I did eat healthier then usual since I have been eating subway all week. Well that helps me to get in gear today. I feel like i am ready. I am going in with a different mind set. To not eat high point foods just because I have the extra points at that time. You know sometimes you feel like you dont nessasarily want a salad/health food but you wouldnt mind eating it. and then there are the times where you feel like you just have to eat something "bad" like doritos because the baked just arent going to cut it, etc...Well I am going to try and reconize these times and eat healthy as much as I can and save as many points as I can. Then when I want to induldge I have the extra points to do so with out feeling guilty. also if I have a really good day which could lead to a great week and I have a bunch of extra flex points I can treat myself to something really tasty! My biggest problem on WW is not so much the food though. Its drinking. I am 22 and like to have friends over quite a bit for drinks. I was told that a good way to drink for low points is to have 1 serving of wine divide it into 2 portions (make it 2 glasses for 1 point each) and add diet 7up. its actually pretty good but sometimes you just want your favorite. mine being cosmos for 4 points and twisted tea for 3 points of course. I guess its all about compromise though. we will see how this week goes. check in soon take care all.

*Nicki it can be very hard to get back into the routine especially when you have been sick. I wish you luck and motivation and hope the scale drops for you! Take care.

*Karen way to go! keep up the good work!

*Haley great job! keep losing those pounds. hopefully I will be as successful!

*Tiffany I can relate alot to your post. tell you what I will kick you if you kick me! lol ;0 in a nice motivational way of course. what are you doing for weightloss? I am doing weight watchers at home. well take care and good luck.

and lastly has anyone stayed up and watched the latest infomercials? I am addicted
always have been though. Whats not to like about them. They all claim you will lose weight easily and get rich quick. PERFECT! lol Well I know that if it were true everyone would be doing those things but aside from that... has anyone tried that trampoline exercise? Cardio Bounce? it looks like alot of fun. also one more thing...has anyone tried that sauna belt or the hoodia? would just like to hear good or bad feedback or what ppl think. Well there is my novel take care all and happy losing! bye

RLK2005 09-10-2005 11:27 PM

Hello all. I am back from my fun time and I gained while I was gone (yes, it was only like 48 hours but I ate like it was going out of style). I am pretty frustrated and feel like I am back where i started (not just physically but mentally). I really appreciated reading all the posts when I got back because it helps me pull myself up again. I am back on WW starting this moment. It's never too late, right?

Rikki

2beautiful2Bfat 09-11-2005 08:03 AM

I had a difficult weekend as always!! I had a bite of cake and a bite of a chcocolate pudding pie that I couldn't resist! I think I just have to accept that weekends are hard!!

I did go for 2 hour long walks yesterday so I think that helped!! But truthfully I have no time to exercise and I am way too fat to join a gym anyways!!

TifRN: I've heard to get rid of your stomach it is all based on what you eat and not how much ab work you do! If you do alot of crunches etc you will have tight muscles with a layer of fat on top.

Can someone tell me more about WW?

Amybeth: Way to go on your loss!!! Keep up the good work!

I'll be back on Wednesday to weigh in!

haleys 09-11-2005 03:39 PM

Rikki, it really is never too late. Back somewhere in the many pages of this thread, you'll see that some of us at some point completely gave up on the whole diet thing. I didn't watch what I eat or exercised for about a week. But the thing is its never too late, get back into it. Get back with it and you can do it. Don't let this get you down, just learn from it and keep going.

I weighed in this morning, I'm at 205. This week my goal is to get below that and by the 23rd of this month, I want to be at or below 199. 5 pounds in two weeks isn't bad, I just need to stick to my diet, stick to my exericse and get it done!

debbietexas 09-11-2005 03:40 PM

Hey everyone. Things going good here I guess. It seems I am never going to lose. I get so disgusted when I weigh so have decided not to lol. I am still working out and trying to accept my sermon of I didn't gain over night and I won't lose over night. I am thinking of joining weight watchers but I live so far out in boonies I don't know how to go about doing it. If anyone has info it would be greatly appreciated.

Sunfire 09-11-2005 08:54 PM

Hey guys, just wanted to show you a few pics! I went out w/ some friends last night and had a really good time. I just wanted to share because it was so fun! If anyone else has pics, feel free to share as well. :D If anyone has myspace, I have them posted there. http://www.myspace.com/nicki5

Let me know if you guys don't have myspace, I'll post them. :D

RLK2005 09-11-2005 11:10 PM

Hello! Boy, sounds like we all need a pep talk! :cheer: I didn't do great again today but I still feel somewhat hopeful, for some reason! I guess it's called a good mood?!?

2Beautiful: Having just a bite of a couple of things sounds good to me. I had two whole pieces of choc cake today (and big pieces!)! You can't deprive yourself forever, right? Trying to eat a replacement when you have a bad craving usually just means you eat the replacement and then eventually eat the craving as well. :) Don't be so hard on yourself (yes, I see my hypocrisy). Your walks are something to celebrate! I am on WW. What do you want to know??! I go to meetings once a week and I have 24 points to eat a day plus 35 extra points for the week. The points are calculated by calories, fat and fiber. It really is about portions and healthy habits. There is nothing you can't eat. There is another WW plan but I don't know much about it. WW isn't for everyone but I like it. Get on the website (www.weightwatchers.com) and that should help.

Haley: Thanks for your kind words. :thanks: You are right and that's why I am here because you guys get it!

Debbie: There is always hope! If the scale is bothering you that much then do stop weighing. I hate it when my day is ruined by what my scale says so I limit my weigh ins. The weight watcher website has a section to find a meeting in your area. Otherwise, you can do it online or at home. But, again, it's not for everyone--I am not trying to "sell" it. :)

Well, I better get going. Have a great week, ladies.

2beautiful2Bfat 09-12-2005 06:58 AM

RLK2005: Thanks for the pep talk and the ww info. Right now I am doing a different plan but it is very costly so I may want to consider WW in the future. I'll keep you posted. Also do they have Maintenance on WW? Do you count points forever or just to get the weight off?

fitnessweetie 09-12-2005 10:23 AM

:flow1: :flow1: Happy Monday! A new week! :flow1: :flow1:

Amybeth: That is so very awesome on your weight loss! :dancer: :dancer: :dancer: I have not tried any of those things on the TV. Sorry, not much imput. But, Rome was not built in a day....I did WW too. It is a great program. Keep it up!

Tiffrn: I am a nurse. I have found that it is so important to be the best example of health as a nurse. I need to take care of myself before I can care for others. That way, I give my best self to them and there healing. What a wonderful profession you are entering. It has taught me so much about myself.

Rikki: I can understand where you are coming from. It is so very hard to stay on track when on vacation. I will be doing that in two days. I hope that you will not be so hard on yourself. For me weight loss is a jounrey...It takes time....

Haley: I like your goals...I set weekly goals for myself too. Sometimes, it is not just about the pounds...but, eating more vegs, or drinking 8 glasses of water. I know you are going to get to onelander soon...Did I spell that right?

Debbie: A key for weight loss for me is to write everything down. I think that Haley put the site fitday.com that helps me and I like that! Even WW, you keep a food journal. I would be lost if I did not write stuff down or put it in on the computer, at fitday.com.

Nicki: I love your pics. you are such a knock out!!!! I could not get them all the pics. Just saw one...Hope you are feeling better by now....

2beautiful: Forgot, what your real name was...Nice to meet ya..if I have not said already. I heard that maintanice is much harder than the weight loss. I know that I am going to be watching what I eat for the rest of my life. Try to take little steps with the workouts...Like taking the stairs...parking the car far way...and walking for only 30-40mins...so you can do it again the next day. I hated workout, but after a month I felt better and stronger...It is so very hard, but find something that will movate you.

Melanie: Where are you girl????? I miss ya!!!!! :( :( :(

Celeste and Sarah: How are you doing?

I am doing well at the body for life contest. I hope to be on the top 5 winners!!!!

Gotta go....the baby is up....

Celeste0722 09-12-2005 02:01 PM

Sorry guys, I'm just not in a posting mood today :( I gained .5 I am getting frustrated BEYOND belief. I just can't get past 155.

RLK2005 09-12-2005 02:28 PM

Hello everyone.

Karen--Thanks for the advice. I know I get way down on myself. It's just hard to get back on plan once I drift away. It is a journey and does take time and sometimes that seems scary!

Celeste--I am sorry about the gain! I know I will be feeling the same tomorrow at weigh in. I can only hope it's 0.5 but I have a feeling it's a lot more! Just keep at it--it's only depressing if you let it keep you from trying. I can't believe how far you have come--54 lbs?!? That's amazing!!!!

Well, gotta keep going...Later--Rikki

Amybeth 09-12-2005 05:58 PM

Celeste, have you tried shocking your system? like with a 5 day low carb diet? The director at the daycare I used to work at used to do that. in the 5 days she lost 5 pounds then she switched back to her usually healthy eating. It might work for you. If I think of anything else I will post it. well good luck and try not to get too discouraged. you have come a long way! good luck

Amybeth 09-12-2005 06:06 PM

I tried this diet called procitravin. its a lot like atkins but stricter if you can believe it. for breakfast I was allowed 2 eggs and 2 slices of bacon. Lunch was as much meat as I wanted as much red white and green veggies as I wanted but no potato. and a salad. (ex. chicken, salad, and green beans.) any kind of dressings on salads, salt pepper, seasonings, ketchup, mayo etc...no alcohol, and I didnt drink any coffee. and the same meal setup for dinner as for lunch. and I exercised. on this diet you dont lose any weight for 4 days then on the 4th day you lose 4 pounds. and then a pound to a pound and a half a day everyday after that. I lost 17 pounds in 17 days. its kind of hard to stick to and doesnt really seem healthy but its a way to jump start yourself or to maybe do short term to shock your system. oh yea and the 12th day of doing the diet you get to eat whatever you want. and the only thing you drink for beverage is water. no diet soda, or soda, or milk. no dairy at all. like I said strict but nice to step on the scale everyday and see you lose everyday! well this probably didnt help anyone but thought I would share it anyway. if you look it up on yahoo or I think its procitravin.com they have more info on it. they also have a supplement which i got 2 years ago but I am sure this plan would work with out it.

shennan 09-12-2005 10:08 PM

Hello Ladies - Would love to join in on the support. Have been batteling with weight issues my entire life. I am 5'3 and 210 pounds and wear 18/20 pants. Though I dont look like a 18/20 ***... well maybe ;) I have severe motivational issues - I am an instant gratification kind-of girl. I get motivated for two weeks then loose momentem and give up. If it isnt one excuse, it is another. My diet habit include counting calories and trying to watch what I eat, but doesnt always work. Anywho.. looking for support. I want to get down to 145-140 (size 12-14) and could use LOTS of encouragement.

Shannon

carafre 09-12-2005 10:16 PM

I LOVE INFOMERCIALS!!! The diet ones are om Sat mornings around 10:00. Tony Little, Billy Blanks, and the one weight loss system with the body type slides you put together are my fave. BTW - I do have a Gizzell and the Tae Bo Boot Camp. hehe...

Amybeth 09-13-2005 03:07 AM

oh yes shennan I got the gazelle too! and a few billy blanks tapes but not the boot camp one though. lol I tell you those infomericials convince me :) not one has worked for me yet but I am still waiting for that magical weight loss miracle where I just suddenly lose weight with no effort lol ok I am back from my day dream. One night about 4 years ago I was up til about 2am watching infomercials. when I saw it...the ultimate weight loss that was effortless. Just put on this magic belt and let the electronic pulses duplicate 600 crunches in x amount of time. WOW and only 135.00 lol sure enough I was sold. (now the stupid things go for about 10.00) I used it a couple of times then I would go off and then use it here and there. I gained about 30 more pounds and was working at a daycare. I thought hmmm I should put that darn belt on for the 2 hours the kids are napping. I did it for 2 weeks straight probably for longer than the instructions told me too. After 2 weeks I had stretch marks where I had been using that stupid belt. Awesome. not only am I fat now I look like I have had 10 kids and I am only 22 and have none and look worse then what I started out with. well there is my infomercial horror story. but i wont let that keep me from keepin on. Just gotta keep trying I guess. well now I am in a bad mood. I shoulda sued but no proof it was from the belt...I know for sure it was though. anywho, hope everyone is doing well, I am just a rambling on....have a good night....bye and stay motivated

2beautiful2Bfat 09-13-2005 06:54 AM

Celeste: maybe you are retaining water? Try increasing your water intake and maybe take potassium. It stops you from retaining! Also watch the caffeine and salt which help with that too. I'm sure the weight will come off and you will be pleasantly surprised. I was the same weight from wed to Friday last week and then Monday I was down almost 3 lbs!

Shennan: Welcome to the group. Maybe to get you motivated you need to try one of these rapid diets to get a boost. The one Amybeth was talking about was good. I am doing Dr. Bernstein which is rapid too but not a 1lb a day. I have been on it for almost 1 month and have lost about 17lbs. Let me know if you want more info.

debbietexas 09-13-2005 11:16 AM

Good morning all!!! I see we have some new members. Welcome everyone. Sorry I haven't been around much. I have been having a few private probs here at home but doing better now.
Celeste all I can say is if i were in your shoes I would be praising God that I don't weigh 200 lbs any more. Sister you have worked so hard to get where you are don't let a stinking half pound get you. You are one my biggest motivators.
Rhonda everytime I see your post I smile. That is the cutest picture I have ever saw and give so much inspiration.
This is a great board here and great with support.
I just have a second for now I just wanted to say hey to all and God bless you all!!! Hang in there we can do it.

Celeste0722 09-13-2005 12:56 PM

Thanks guys for all of your suggestions!! I really really appreciate it! Today is a really hard day for me. Kalynn, my 3 year old daughter, started school today. She had to take the bus and I just bawled. She won't be home til 12:15-12:30.

Welcome to the newbies!!!

2beautiful-OK, I'm going to drink more water, maybe that's it? I've also started taking a multivitamin too.

Debbie-Thanks, I am SO happy that I've lost all this weight! Wow, me? A motivator? Really? Thanks, that really means a lot to me!

Anyway, Hope everyone is having a good day so far!

haleys 09-13-2005 01:06 PM

Awww, Celeste, that is great she is going to school, but it does suck that she'll be gone!

I don't know how to measure this or anything, but I used to only use the first notch on my belt and now I use the 3rd one in cause my pants are falling off. I should probably just go try a new size on of jeans at the store, but I don't want to till I'm at least around 180. Class time. Make good choices!!

Meldiggety 09-13-2005 01:10 PM

Hey Ladies,

Sorry I've been MIA to those who missed me ;) I actually went to Portland, Oregon area to visit some friends and check out real estate from Thursday until late last night. There is a good possibility of us moving there in Feb or March - I loved it! Everything is so green and lots of friendly people, the weather was just how I like it and there is a perfect mixture of country and city and real estate is SO affordable compared to California! That's the good news.....the bad news is that I ate like crap being that we ate out at least 2 out of 3 meals per day. :hun: I royally screwed myself over there! :stress: I did exercise while I was there.....one day went to the most awesome gym I have ever seen and did 55 min of eliptical/treadmill and 20 min of weights and the other day I jog/walked for 40 minutes. I weighed myself this morning and have gained 2 lbs....I actually thought it would be more, so I am thanking God and getting back on track today! :ebike:

How are you all?

Mel

debbietexas 09-13-2005 01:54 PM

I just have a second to say of course we missed you mel. You are the leader of the pack lol. Everytime some one post they just never know whose heart they are touching just to give us insentive to keep moving on. I just love to see all those tickers move. Let us stick together girls. I am still using tread mill and weights and low fat. I wore my denim skirt to church sunday night with cute tshirt and was surprised to see my self pulling it up around the waist when we stood for prayer I use to be tugging it out of my fat roll belly. I threw away the scales and just focusing on eating and looking good. love ya guys

fitnessweetie 09-13-2005 03:39 PM

Welcome to the two new gals! Nice to meet ya!

Celeste: I know what you mean. Jessica is in Mother's morning out 3x a week. I don't know how I will handle her riding on the bus...But, Jessica does love school. Just like Nemo does she says. I hope that you do not get down on yourself. I think that you look great!

Melanie: Great to hear from you. Wow, so you maybe moving. We are planning on moving in the spring time. Just 15 mins. away. We want to get in a better school system. I could really understand how you were challange when you were looking for houses. We are leaving on vacation this weds. I think that it was great that you workout. I am planning to do that too. I know that it will be hard for me.

Well, Today is week two of my body for life contest. I have lost 3 pounds. From tues-tues. Also, I love to watch the biggest loser on TV. I have friends who do not like it and friends who love it. I look at it, like these are people who want to lose weight and change their lives for good. Alot of my friends feel that it makes fun of over weight people. What do you gals think? Does it help you or hamper you?

Hello all!

Karen--I love Biggest Loser but missed it tonight (wasn't this the premiere?). I think it's motivating. Just my opinion.

Shannon--You sound like me. That motivation thing is a killer. This is a great support system, though.

Well, I weighed in today and gained 0.2 lbs. Not bad considering. Mel, we sound alike! I am ready for this new week!!

Rikki - I am right there with ya, we just got hop back on :D

Karen - Way to go on the 3 lb loss - you are awesome, I hope you are top 5!! :bravo: Also, just remember to enjoy your vacation and try to make healthy choices......if you can't, then just eat smaller portions than usual and if anything that will help you to maintain your weight instead of gain like I did! I like the show Biggest Loser, I don't see it as making fun of overweight people, I see it as each person dedicating themselves to a better way of life, so I agree with you.......it's inspiring.

Debbie - Glad to know you are plugging along, you are doing so great!

Nikki - How ya been? Miss you.

Hey Mel and everyone. I guess everyone had a busy day? I know I did and it's not even close to being over, I have so much homework to do, darn you college!

Anyways...

I got back from the gym a while ago, I did the ab class and the camp 24 thing again. It's definitely a kick me in the butt class, I love it because of that. I can make it through the whole class, but while some people are going up and down very quickly on their step, I'm slowly marching along. I guess now I have a fitness goal, I want to be able to go through that entire class and keep up with the instructor, even through the, "here is the modified harder version" parts.

I'm okay on the exercise portion for now, but am clueless on how I'm eating. Well, I mean, I know what I'm eating, I just have NO clue how many calories it is, the cafeteria doesn't have nutrition information, so I'm left to guess. I already know I can't have the corn, green beans, peas, cauliflower or broccoli cause it's all SWIMMING in butter. It's disgusting, really. But I don't know how anything else is prepared, it's not like I can taste the butter in everything. I guess I'll just continue to keep my portions small and just kind of let it be a guessing game, that's really the only thing I can think of.

Okay, that was a mouthful. I hope you all are doing well. Don't let gains slow you down. Just think of it as a long walk, and along the way there are big hills (weight gains) and then the other side of the hill which is downhill (weight loss). Just think of how awesome it is to get to the end of a long walk and then think of how much more awesome it'll be to get to your goal weight. Did that make any sense???

Take care!
