Yep, I go to the meetings here. Our leader is amazing! I just love her. We are Coast Guard and have been here about a year. We came here from Port Angeles, WA. Alaska is an adventure. I am not sure if I like it here yet or not. Winter this past year was VERY hard on me.

Good Morning from Florida

It finally stopped raining, we are feeling the affects of Huricane Dennis through storms. It's not bad though since the Hurricane will not be coming to our area. I have to say, dealing with Hurricanes and rain doesn't bother me as much as dealing with the continually gray sky in Wa state did.

Welcome ahealthierme! My DH wants out of the Navy and they are making it hard on him. His rate (mos/job) is locked and they are letting a LOT of other people out because of that but not him so far. He is really trying to transfer or just get out and enlist in the Army. He wanted to be there (army) in the first place but they wouldn't take him at 17 with no diploma (LONG story) and the Navy did.

Tomorrow is my appt with my RE (fertility doc). I have an ultrasound scheduled to see if my body made any eggs, I am very nervous. DH has to watch the boys so he can't go with me but I am used to that. I do need to talk to him about the stall on my weight loss, I am on one med that helps me lose weight and another that causes gains On top of that, I have been so exhausted and having really bad headaches, it will all be worth it when I see those 2 lines but right now UGH!!

My hubby wanted to go to Alaska. I heard it is hard to keep weight off there because of the winters.You will always have the experience.

I am so glad ya'll dodged the hurricane. Good luck with your ultrasound. I went through infertility with my first child. I lost 75 pds and got pregnant with my second with no drugs.I hear ya with the headaches, I am getting off the puter because I have one.
Oh yeah.Today was weigh in day and I am down 2 pds.

Darn, just realized I never did an update on my doc appt. My official weight loss since starting to see the RE is 13lbs (end of may til now). I had nothing on the left side but I had a nice size follicle on the right. I go back on thursday to have another ultrasound to see if it's big enough to trigger. (smile and nod, it's good news )

Vicki- Yah for weight loss! I am on my 4th week of being at 178lb, have to change something up here soon.

Candy- How's your research going?

onetallmama- we used to be in everett, wa. I miss not seeing mountains out my living room window. (now we have palm trees )

ahealthierme - nice pick of you and DF! How's you weight loss effort going?

I have been having pains on my left side, don't know why, there wasnt anything going on over on that side Usually when I start having these pains my weight goes up a few lbs or so but it seems to be staying the same this time. My doc said my weight loss should pick up again if we don't get pregnant this time so we will see how it goes. Maybe I will be one of the lucky ones that loses while pregnant or at least only gains that 15lbs I should be limited to.

Glad to hear there is good news. I will pray for you for fertility. My mother said she prayed to Saint Anne when she was trying to get pregnant with me.

It is going... I am finishing it up to turn in tomorrow. I have stopped counting calories, but I am still eating healthy... no sugar, etc.

Glad to hear it is done.. I hear ya about the calories. I don't count them either. I don't because I want this to be something I can do forever.

I hear ya'll have another Hurricane coming to Florida. We have a typoon coming. It will be my first. I heard the power goes off easy.

Hope all is going great. I have had a rough week this week. I survived the dentist which is a big deal for me. I have to go again next week.

Hey hey! My doc appt went well yesterday, now is the hard part of "wait and see". MIL called me last night to see if we have talked to DS about her hair loss yet. She found out she had breast cancer about 2mths ago and is going through chemo. I asked her to send a pic of her new haircut (before hair falls out) but I haven't told him she'll have no hair when she visits in Oct. It is supposed to be her and a friend coming down for a football game but her partner might come too, yuck! I do not like her partner at all, she is always trying to cause problem between dh and his mom or dh and me. Hopefully, mil leaves drama biotch at home hehe

Vicki- we are on the NE side of FL so we will be missed by Emily also. I am sure we will get lots more rain and storms but at least no actual hurricane yet.

Nothing much else to add, lost 2.5 lbs this week but I may have already said that.

I am down three more today. I am so close to 199. I stepped on the scale three times but it still said 200.
